    1. If you’re playing the net in doubles, and you find yourself on the same side as the opposing net player, straddle the center service line

I actually was in the server's situation and used my partner as a screen to hide my cross court winner. I only missed my partner by a few inches. Partners are replaceable.
And as for the returner, he should have hit the 3rd ball straight down the alley without any poaching worries from the opposing net person.

Yaa the net yellow player should have snatched the ball🤷👍

Yep, need to move as soon as possible in this setup. Most players at almost any level will hit the first ball down the line. Often an easy poach..

Most of your viewers are 3.0ish and they would lob over aka moon balling over the net guy when returning the serve... So this would never be an issue.

Lobbing down the line is exactly what causes this situation. So good thing I made this video. This happens about 5 times per match for 3.0 players.

@@2MinuteTennis thx but they keep lobbying. Net player has zero chance.

I'm a 3.5 player and this happens all the time. Opponent will not lob over the net player because they think it's safer to go to that empty half of the court.
You have to go early in the rally (as that grey net player does). If you keep waiting you'll eventually get lobbed.

@@hawkersmith the red player (receiver) should've just lobbed over to the servers backhand is what I meant and I encounter this all the time. Great video regardless. Thank you Ryan.
