Maximum crew was physically dope, but they had a lot crashes and repeats. Every their set had chair freezes. 0 creative. That's not about Rivers crew. Each their routine was original and creative. Each bboy is unique. That's why Rivers crew won.
It was different time back then, so you can't really judge how it is now and then, it's stupid plain and simple. These guys don't have youtube they can binged on and get their move, they instead practice as a group together and actually make their own move so that's why a lot of them have the same flavor. I really hate seeing new comments on old videos then judging them because they didn't do a "complete set" like red bull standard, it's bullshit.
