The test is also a little bit for me so I can work which fin is best in what conditions so I gain a little edge. I have been testing the 44’s in underpowered conditions today.
Nice video. !! One question : The geometry of the "male" Tuttle (or deep tuttle) boxes are in general correct on these fins? (of course it depends of the female board tuttle/deep tuttle boxes geometry ). In general do you find that the fitting ( side width (tolerances) , heights , fitting with the bottom shape of the board ) are ok ?
In general these fins are as good as it gets. But the fin boxes vary a bit from brand to brand. My AV boards have a bit longer boxes and demand that you put a little extra on the ends of the fin head in order to prevent the fins from going to deep in the box. I put some tape on the inside of the fin-cover to make them not fall off so easily.
