As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself it was a great pleasure for me to work on this video; showing the various voices behind some of our favorite Disney characters, who were part of the LGBTQ+ community all this while! I
Other than 10 of the original English-language voice-actors, I have also included 5 international voice-actors of the LGBTQ+ community in the video.

The Spanish version was so accurate, since Hercules is bisexual as well. Would I be asking too much for Hercules openly bi in the live action?

I searched "Auli'i Cravalho bisexual" in youtube and this came up, but I'm not upset haha!! Idk why but it makes me super happy seeing all of these voice actors who do such big roles being open about their sexuality, especially the older ones

oh my god this made me so, so happy!! im bisexual so seeing more LGBT+ ppl in this community and seeing a video dedicated to the LGBT+ performers who lent their voices to these characters made me smile so big!

Wonderful idea!! I had no idea so many of the voice actors/actresses were LGBTQ+ :0 I did however know that the Canadian French voice actor for Hiccup in all 3 HTTYD movies is gay
I too got to know of a lot of them as I was searching for them; some like Cogsworth and Robin Hood were surprising revelations for me too haha.

In Brazil, we have Daniel Garcia, he's a famous Drag Queen called Gloria Groove, and he's the VA//singer of Aladdin (live action)

OK not only that I’m super surprised that the new voice actor for the live action of Timon is gay, I’m also surprised that the original voice actor of Timon, Nathan lane isn’t even listed on this video since he’s gay as well!

I have my own theories about Sterling Holloway (voice of Winnie the Pooh, Kaa and the Cheshire Cat, among others). He wasn't a major celebrity, so there's almost no info out there on his personal life, but there's one thing - he never married, BUT he did legally adopt an adult man, which a lot of gay men in his time did. It was a way of making sure your partner had a share in your life after you died. I think Sterling Holloway may have been the first LGBTQ+ voice at Disney.

As a fun fact, Anabel Alonso, the Castilian Spanish voice of Dory, is also a lesbian. She's out since 2016 and she married her girlfriend of 10 years last year ^^.

I had no idea Saara Alto is a lesbian. And Robin Hood's voice actor is gay? Whoa. Nathan Lane who voiced Timon in the cartoon Lion King films is gay. Daniela Mercury who sung the pop songs for Pocahontas in Brazilian Portuguese is bisexual. Diogo Infante who dubbed Eric, Moses, and Aladar in European Portuguese is gay.

Gotta admit, I never knew Ricky Martin was bi, I always heard he was gay
In numerous interviews he claims that he likes being romantically involved with guys, but he can have sex with either men or women depending on his desires. That makes him a homoromantic bisexual. Though since he is currently in a same sex relationship people may just see him as gay.

One major omission here - Nigel Hawthorne, voice of Professor Porter in Tarzan and Flewdur in The Black Cauldron - he was the first openly gay man to be nominated for an oscar, though he personally hated the emphasis on that point.
He prolly knew it was for show and indirectly mocking him.
I found out Ellen was lesbian in 2018 when I had a report on women's history month

My issue is that if I were an actor…even if I could excuse being picked out simply because I am attracted to the same gender, I cannot excuse the little words in parentheses. Like Open? Some of them are not “openly gay” or anything!

As for others LGBT actors, I also know that Xavi Duch (singing voice of Olaf) is also Gay, and I’m sure there’s a tone more, but now I can’t remember.

I used to think watching Hamilton was a waste of time to watch. But I finally sat down and watched the whole thing and wow am I glad I did cause I love Lin Manuel Miranda and Jonathan Groff's relationship like so much (this doesn't really have to do with this video just Jonathan Groff kinda lol sorry)

For Croatian dubbers, I know that voice of Belle 2017, Nina kraljić came out as bisexual this year.

I do have other ideas to work on right now, but....since there are a lot of LGBTQ+ talents that could still be included in such videos; I guess I'd not deny the possibility of a part 2 entirely, just not soon. I am pretty sure pansexual is when you have an attraction to a person regardless of what their gender is or their sex at birth.
People who identify as being queer is descried as anything that isn't straight I believe.

Queer just typically means you are LGBT but don't want to confine yourself to a label.
Pansexual (this one's kinda hard to explain) it's like bisexuality but more fluid almost?

There's a term similar to it - omnisexual. Omnisexuals are attracted to people of all genders, but they might have a preference (for example, towards women).

To acknowledge and appreciate LGBTQ+ talent in mainstream Disney films, to celebrate the fact that in so many lgbtq+ talents have been involved in making millions of childhoods special around the world through these fun animated films, and to let everyone know that the rainbow fam has always been there contributing to the mainstream entertainment industry, even in our childhood favourite disney films, so it is time they get their dues...
To know and show the query that gay people attend any differently from others. They have to work hard and have talent kudu like everyone else.

I don´t understand whats so special that they work as a voice actor? In my mind, it is nothing special. They Did a great job. And they will. But they are only lgbtq... Most people from the lgbtq community i know don´t want to be treated like something special. They see each other like normal People. And they are right. The are normal! In every way... They love ehat they love, they are what they are... Nothing special. Just some great people...
It's just acknowledging that the actors are part of the community. It helps other members feel recognized, and it is nice to know that actors who identify as they do can do this. No big deal, but a deal nonetheless.

@@idfk.ceciii Yeah I saw the Tiktok, she just lip synced to a song and everyone lost their minds. It's possible she may have jumped on the bandwagon it to start some intrigue though. A number of Disney child stars tend to turn to sex appeal when they want out of the child star typecast. What better way than to go woke at the same time... It's kinda sad when girls feel they have to sell their bodies to be taken seriously. Hopefully she won't repeat the mistakes of her predecessors. She's got plenty of talent, she doesn't need that.
