    Say coach if your grill don’t catch everything buy some black bug screen for a storm door and super glue it to the back of the grills and that will stop everything I am in the country so theirs a lot a farm stuff this time of year it helps

      Texas weather changes by the hour... but overall it’s been great riding weather. If it’s not raining, I’m riding everyday even if it’s only for a hundred miles. Trying to get my “Spyder legs” 😎
      Email me if you ever travel thru the Texas hill country, and maybe we can have a meal together.

    I got the stainless with RT instead of the spider as I thought whats the point leaving a gaping whole with the spider, I went on step further and zip ties mesh behind the grills so NO small children and wildlife here in Australia will get sucked or rammed in behind the grill, to some may look less pretty but 100% functional....

  • @jybritt
    @jybritt Před 4 lety +2

    Great video, Coach Bob. I’ve got the same Spyder RT you do, and I love it. BTW, never crawled onto a cycle-two wheel or three wheel-in my life before last January,
    It wouldn’t have hurt if the manufacturer had included a small inexpensive square-headed screwdriver in the package, but that ain’t a deal-killer. I’ll be interested to see how they work out. Out here in SoCal we don’t get the bugs you folks do (as a Southerner, I know how it is down home), but you still get stuff caught up behind the screens riding out in farm country.
    Safe travels.

    • @CoachBob3
      @CoachBob3  Před 4 lety

      Welcome to the world of motorcycling. That is super exciting.
      The grills are really nice... they do seem to thin out the bugs. Speaking of SoCal...We are making a trip to San Diego this year on the Spyder. My son lives there.
      Thanks for the comment. RYDE safe.. 👍🍻

      Coach Vic thanks for reading and commenting on my comment lol. I'm happy for you to get out and enjoy some wind in your hair on the Spyder . I had a 2015 Spyder Rt and they are the king of comfort. We are looking at another 2019 since the discounts are huge. Thanks for your videos, GOD BLESS YOU.

    Always love your videos and after watching this one I ordered a pair of grills from Can Am Spyder Accessories, however just so you and your followers know: No instructions were included with grills but I followed Pierre's instructions as well as Coach Bob 3's instructions and the right grill has a gap on the sides. Reached out and was told I make these myself and they all fit perfect it must be your block position but as I stated I followed this video. NO instructions came with product so buyer beware. I won't purchase again from canamspyder accessories!

    • @CoachBob3
      @CoachBob3  Před 3 lety

      Wow. I think I recall a single leaflet sheet with instructions. I just can’t recall for certain.
      I am glad the video helped you. That said.... Sorry CASA let ya down.
      Thanks for watching the channel. Coach Bic and I really appreciate it.

    Different subject, What are your thoughts on the Kenda front tires on your Spyder? Thinking of replacing my fronts with Vredesteins Quatrac 5 and just wanted your opinion. Thanks Gilbert Pardo II (Arcamguy)

    • @CoachBob3
      @CoachBob3  Před 4 lety +1

      I’m thinking I’ll probably go with the Kenda Kanine KR20 set for the front and rear.. They’re reasonably priced, ($165 US front pair and $129 US rear) designed for the Spyder and I’ve heard positive comments on them.
      I will say I’m not real experienced in the Spyder Tyre world yet. I’ve heard nothing really negative on any tire as of yet. But. I’m learning a lot. But.... the Kenda kanine...that’s the direction I’m leaning. 👍👍👍.
