As a Brit, a package holiday in a resort like that is absolute hell in my view and we all know what type of Brit books into these places. It's far better and more fun renting a self catering villa at the same cost. How silly is it going abroad to just be surrounded with other Brits is something I'll never understand.

The sort of people who lounge around the pool all day are not usually the most inquisitive or intelligent of our species. They will happily lie there getting skin cancer, have a few drinks and then go home and tell everyone what a wonderful time they had. It's as if they think being in a different location on the Earth means they have had a holiday, even though they could have achieved the same thing in their back garden with an inflatable paddling pool and a box of wholesale wine.

God can you imagine this lot walking around an old church? You are standing there, trying to absorb the atmosphere, look at the architecture, the beautiful glass, learn about the history and maybe just take a few moments of quiet to soak in the moment. Then all of a sudden you hear these people prattling on about where they are going to eat, no doubt their kids are complaining that it's boring, the father walks within olfactory distance and you're swamped with the smell of lynx body spray, so liberally applied that breathing it in becomes nearly hazardous.
Yep I'm glad they stay near the pool.

I understand, it's the same way most people view Americans as their only exposure to them is from the loud tourists that come to Europe. When I went to America I found tons of really great people, but they mostly live outside of the big cities and they themselves don't like the loud city people.
Just know that these Brits are not representative of the majority. Most of us make fun of these people.

I went on 2 holidays like this with friends and wish I hadn't. There was always the same people.
1 - Normal (ish)family that breaks out into sporadic arguments often.
2 - A morbidly obese family that makes you feel sick as they float around the pool like manatees.
3 - "THE couple" he's got muscle, looks the biz, she's got big tits and rollers in her hair - (they don't swim in the pool they lean against the side making sure everybody is watching)
4 - An old couple who only want to talk to you when your asleep as nice as they are.
5 - The campers, they're always at the same spot, don't move an inch, the last week they look like a DFS sofa, thin Creasy leather with biscuits in the cracks.
Oh well everyone needs a holiday, still I don't dislike any of these people as much as I hate the British government. Yes I'm that guy.

Flamingo Oasis is an all inclusive hotel. therefore despite flying nearly 2000km to a foreign country they choose to stick in the hotel where all the food and drink is "free".
Little do most of them realise that if they booked a reasnable tourist apartment self catering they could eat out in benidorm for every meal in a different restaurant (no not john and josephs guys, there is proper food available too) and have fresh cooked non canteen food.
eating and drinking where they want and what they want. most famalies of 4 can usually spend LESS on benidorm self catering than they do on there "everything is "free" all inclusive.

  • @luciusquinctiuscincinnatus6627

First minute i was embarrassed. A minute and a half i was proud . Watch it again and watch the civilised way of doing things, look how neat and organised all the british families lined them up . If for example these were Chinese tourists we would have seen disorder, fights breaking out in the corner over who got to those certain lounges first and the unholy sight of chaos where everyone would have planked their bottoms anywhere .

Best to go in June cos was quiet for sunbeds anyway in the standard pool swimming area,August u will get this shenanigans lol.
