So a couple of things that I wanna pin to let you all know.
1. I completely forgot about Sonic Fox when explaining America not winning Evos in 2022 Umisho wasnt the only american who won.
2. I know that I missed a lot like GBVS but I wanted to keep it to the interesting moments and keep it as simple as possible!

Koe catching Nagzz up on the relationship status of Mortal Combat characters has high school reunion vibes that I appreciate.
Unironically, he was probably the person most hyped for MK11 for EVO 2022 and he's only watching it now.
I remember seeing the 2019 Grand Finals for Tekken. I was excited to see Pakistan put on the board!
Pakistan was insane. It felt like the quiet kid in the back who had been studying every single movement just for that moment.
I love EVO by ALOT this year because of these reasons:
1. I love the fact that Koe pointed out when Dekillsage's pressure kill before PenPen's R. Fortune's timer hit 0 and the managed to beat him 3-2. That was reallly an amazing Skullgirls moment.
2. The fact that Type Lumina's main iconic highlight is this grand finals reset between Masoma and Jing is really shocking, and hell I was even there to watch the entire thing. Yeah Type Moon keep buffing Vlov, he's a "low tier" for you guys XD
3. KOF XV is literally like really impossible to not miss because some of our favorites characters in the game, doing the execution combos and making the impossible comebacks is really AMAZING! SNK really went all out on this one
4. DBFZ. We can never deny the fact that Wawa is the God of DBFZ right now since he infact won Bum's Birthday Bash, ComboBreaker, CEO, Heat Wave, the DBFZ World Tournament, and now even EVO. Although I have 3 all-time favourite players in this game (Namely Tatsunical, RaptR, and Shanks a.k.a. El Padre), Wawa really showed that he's the biggest monster in this game.
And never forget the Cell scream, its been an iconic scream ever since Season 1. And will forever be a moment in our hearts.
4. Idom's gauntlet run in SFV, he even beat the BEST OF THE BEST players like Daigo, Gachikun, Tokido, and even Kawano.
5. My favourite favourite fighting game to play and watch in EVO. Strive with the amazing players: Daru-INo, Leffen, Hotashi, Slash, and the rest with Umisho as the reigning champion in Strive. And with that Bridget announcement, the trans love has been bigger than before which makes me warm-hearted
Koe is a good teacher.

I think I actually made a Raditz reference on stream once to Koe 😂 I'm so happy to see him refer to Arslan Ash that way. PERFECTLY fits.

Not to diss Pakistans Tekken but the reason why they were so good was that we haven’t seen their regions style before and it was something new and everyone have to adjust it’s like in the NFL a rookie pops off out running everyone then the next year or 2 teams have film on them and study them
Really strange to say the gap has gotten closer in strive when there was around 15 Japanese players in a 2k+ tournament. Didn’t Japan wash NA when they had an exhibition?

I mean this was the first time skullgirls got a main slot at evo, and KOF15 just came out this year.

The only storyline that came out of MK11 being at EVO is that it screwed Saturday Finals because it takes so dang long to run through it's Top8.
Other than that, no one is talking about MK11's presence at EVO at all.
@@janematthews9087 Bruh. The storylines were nuts. Chile taking 3 back to back majors. Afoxygrampa and sonic fox facing off again like they did in MKX. Foxy beating Sonic fox in the exact same way Fox beat him in MKX which got so famous they named it the Fox finish, even naming an achievement after it. Rewinds run.
