How did you just click on the loop and transfer it into the sampler? I'm on a Mac that doesn't work here. I have to save the sample first as a new sample then import it into the sampler
Once you have the selection there is a button in the tool labelled "Drag / Copy Sample / selection" (it looks like a mouse pointer and a file). Drag "that button itself" over to your sampler. I've never had to drag a menu button before, it is bizarre. Took me ages to work out.
I’ve never tried it this way before. For years I never used Edison because I never owned it, so I’ve always done the same thing in the channel rack using length start and cross fade! This is cool!

Its Important for the drag and drop part, that u use the button in edison (second one from the right side, its a mouse courser and file sign) to drag and drop. Then youll have it right. If u DaD directly from the waveform it will only copy the selected part. Hope it helps
I forgot about this but yes if I remember when I get out of work in like 5 hours I'll post something. When I make basses from scratch in say, serum or another synth this doesn't really apply but for beginners my method will work with pre made 808 samples and such

When I drag the loop back into the sampler from Edison, nothing happens?
Make sure you have only the loop selected (it’ll be highlighted red), if the entire sample is selected and dragged in it’ll do nothing.
