Void could even want to do things with “good” results. It’s an entropic force but also the only reason we’ve got flesh and blood creatures on Azeroth.

To me it looks almost like he can't concentrate, and that the elements still aren't truly heeding his calls.
But ingame, Thrall has shown he has his shamanistic powers back already, has his connection been elaborated upon in either direction?
He probably regained some power , but not the power he controlled back in Cataclysm.
He either can't connect to the elements (again) or rather the Elements are in vein again, not able to stabilize (especially Fire after losing another Fire Lord).
