I’ve been following KSI since he was a small FIFA CZcamsr. One of the first things that got him attention in 2011/2012 was “beast” videos. He would promote a little known player as being overpowered or “beast.” All his fans would rush to buy the player’s card off the market but the card’s price would already be fixed unusually high. This is because KSI had “price locked” it. He bought up the supply of the cards at a low price, made a video to build hype, then sold the cards at a huge profit after releasing the video. He even joked about it in the videos. He was pump and dumping in FIFA long before crypto.

I became a KSI fan just before the release of Holiday. He seemed so much calmer and happier than he was when I was 14. Once he didn't walk away from Logan Paul I knew he was sketch. Millionaire influencers that scam their fans are absolute scumbags but what's more worrying is how people are willing to take advice from them. If you take advice from the guy that filmed a dead body then you deserved to be scammed.

@@Trabsol yep if you deactivate your account and log back in people can see your tweets.
Disabling ur account hides the account and all ur tweets, but doesn't delete anything. So when he logged back in it unhid all his previous tweets which allowed them to compare tweet dates to the block chain. Granted not sure why this wouldn't have been doable at the time he was doing it.

I don't think crypto was ever intended as a scam, people with bad morals just took it as an opportunity to scam people.

Crypto isn’t a scam. Scammers are the problem. It’s like saying trading is a scam because people get tricked by giving their lifesaving to a scam course or gift cards are scam because scammers use them to do shady stuff

Everybody on Crypto Twitter knew he was dumping at the time, there is some truth to him saying people would do the opposite of what he tweeted. But yes his followers who were not familiar with crypto could easily be fooled.
I vaguely remember this as well, I don't think he is a scammer but I can see how it can be very misleading to others
