Prosperity was all promised concerning Ishmael as outlined in the ancient Jewish scriptures, but salvation from sin only comes through the blood sacrifice of Jesus and his resurrection. Despite how both the Israelis and Arabs rejected Jesus, his coming had been clearly promised and inphatically prophosied hundreds of times in the Jewish scriptures. The 2 biggest may be Daniel 9 and Isaiah 53. Jesus' work was also symbolized in the ancient texts, which the Jews discredit, the same ones that foretold the prosperity of the Arab nations. One interesting foreshadow of the Christ was the sheep caught in the thicket when Abraham took Issac to sacrifice him before God, something Ishmael would have been happy with. But God stopped Abraham and provided a sheep caught in the thicket for sacrifice. Although the Jews still reject Jesus, his coming came through the wretched descendants of Issac, not of Ishmael. God did this because his salvation is not based on heritage or works, but the grace of God alone. To reject Jesus is to attempt to approach God on one's own sinful merit.

Or do you presume because you adhere to ritualistic decrees such as not eating pork or not having a cross that the same sinful nature that plagues all humans hasn't also infected you. Tell me you've never, lied. Never had evil thoughts at the sight of a woman. Never stole anything. Never smoked or helped others get cigarettes. Never thought of hurting another person. The Ghandis and ruling class just like here in America don’t think much of the people of the country that they rule. It appears that in Saudi Arabia they do. America is fighting for its freedom as its education system is in decline. India for the most part is highly educated. Saudi Arabia seems to be highly educated. I believe America is in decline because it has been given permission to feel sorry for itself and it’s degeneracy. It’s weighted down in willful ignorance. Most of the American people only think about themselves when they really don’t understand how the rest of the world lives. Americans are truly narcissistic.

What was left unmentioned is the fact that IF YOU PUT PLANTS IN AN ARID LAND, RAIN WILL COME.
The plants increase the humidity in that particular area which attracts more rain.
I may have forgotter the principle, but I'm sure you can find it in Google. Just like how China transformed its Gobi desert into farmlands.
I was discussing this phenomenon with a person I shared a commercial flight with. He claimed that he worked as a gardener in the royal family in Saudi. THey were ordered to plant trees and other plants in an area, and after a decade of doing this, the rain gradually came much more frequently.

Basically what they are doing is making artificial oasis at a large scale. Water recycling is also very important for a country like Saudi Arabia. Its such a finite resource that the best thing to do are these practices. MBS is smart in doing this. While I still believe oil will play a major role in the future with the onset of electric cars the best the prince can do is diversify the countries economy. With so much money at their finger tips, they can use technology to their advantage and are open to diversification and adaption and using human resources which are inclusive of their existing farmers. Every possible field of assistance is utilised and improved and expanded; a vision made into reality. Other countries can try to emulate Saudi Arabia instead of crying poor all the time. What a clever & thoughtful government of Saudi Arabia , since nearly every country is a bit greedy by their governments, most don’t care too much about their people , only making profit for themselves !! Well done Saudis Arabia, what a wonderful inspiration you are to their countries, who, have never had to survive in nearly half their country in a desert . Well done xx thank you Helen Kirrage & May God bless your Saudi Arabian government for caring for thief people x x

Yes right the Saudi family are trillionaires.!!! Trillionaires!!! Not billionaire but trillionaires!!! And there are sooo many starving people everywhere in their vicinity yet they do absolutely nothing to change that. They party like infidels and wage wars like twisted corrupt so called holy men. All racing to build the tallest buildings in the greatest penis envy contests the world has ever had the grueling dishonor to witness. Close second is New York tycoons and con men, yes you knew trump would be in this one for sure, because every small tyrant and petty insecure ego has a seat at this table lol

This article stated that Saudi Arabia is self-sufficient agriculturally. But it failed to mention that Saudi Arabia is using Arizona water to grow alfalfa to feed their cattle. Why do they need to do this if they have so much water? Arizona cannot afford the water to spare for this. We do not have the extensive aquifer to rely on, and our limited groundwater supplies are being used not for our citizens' benefit, but to grow alfalfa that is then shipped to Saudi Arabia. How is that self-sufficient?

Why? They do it because they demand alfalfa for their cattle but have outlawed the growing of said crop in Saudi Arabia. It's too 'water intensive'. Perhaps not great planning on their part if they do want to be self sufficient, you're correct. And AZ is an idiot with very lax water laws, which is how this happened. (No offense to you, personally, just your state.) GL with getting them out now that the land is leased with unlimited water draw. Seriously, good luck.

There is nothing wrong with Saudi Arabia prioritizing what they do with their water. Arizona is responsible for their water themselves.
