Elaborate? Connor has lost thinking he can't be touched. I'm a a fan of Mcgregor and Chandler and imo there is a chance of ko by both at any point. I think in the clinch or on the ground chandler wins but in a pure striking match I believe connor has an edge

True. Wonder to see them both against each other in their prime. Conor was wrecking machine, but not unbeatable - never was even in his best days. Aside Diaz at the time (which nearly got him twice), I still have Conor's bout with Chad Mendez as one of his hardest fights, where the luck and will to eat the pain got him out of near loss with Chad in my opinion. Still my top 3 of his fights ever, simply because it was hard work, not a single punch karate show. Nevertheless - would Chandler and McGregor fought around the time of Chad Mendes fight I have mentioned, I would still not be sure about him having it easy with Chandler at all, so my bets could land on both of the names. This time, I believe in Chandler's heart, ethics and his explosiveness, as as he clearly still has it, with experience not to be overhelmed by the odds, while not really sure if Conor is really serious about the bout, and won't visit octagon just to try one hit counter and win within 1st round, where he could pose danger before he fades out. Hopefully the fight will actually really happen...

Mike's got hart. Seen it during the Justin fight. But it could go either way if it's vintage Coner but that's doubtful at this point. Coner vs Aldo, Coner looked like he was walking on air, just free flowing movement that was pretty to watch-he lost that long ago. If Mike does not take a dive, I see him pulling it out.

As a professional fighter you must have a healthy dose of self-confidence. That makes sense. If you had no self-confidence as a fighter, you would be behind 1-0 in a match before it even started. Don't forget, dear people, there is a huge commercial interest in this. An organization that earns millions or perhaps even more money from it. All these types of physically strong and mental powerhouses also play a role in the play.
Self-confidence doesn't sound like this. He is scared and unsure of the outcome. Very slow and very calculated words from Chandler, and very formulaic, and very role play. Connor still has Connor inside, and if he would just embrace that Connor was Connor BEFORE all the wins, just like a SEAL is a SEAL in mentality before the trident is awarded, Connor can flow from himself again despite the recent losses and destroy any opponent on a given day. Your track record doesn't do your fighting, who are now does the fighting. Connor is more strategically intelligent and animalistically preying on the mind and movements of his opponents, Chandler is more of a formula looking for it's variable to plug in, leaving his mind open to manipulation without awareness of the manipulation.
The one thing about Connor is he is a master of psychological warfare. He is deep into his opponent’s head well before they reach the ring. This conversation sounds like chandlers trying to convince himself that he will win. I think Connor is a POS through and through but I don’t think chandler has a chance if his opponent is healthy and determined. Most of Connor’s wins were from opponents being mentally shot before even fighting. The only thing debilitating Connor is the fact he’s been out the ring for so long and if he’s healthy.

I like how Chandler lets his fighting career go by waiting on this fight then says Armand shouldn't have turned down the Islam fight. Chandler fights like an idiot to be honest. I hate Conor but i hope he smokes Chandler. Chandler gasses pretty quick and he swings wild. Conor has the shaper striking and he also gasses but chandler will stand and bang like a dummy and get flatlined.

Idk, Chandler is a solid fighter. But Chad is a better wrestler, Chad also hits harder, he dominated Connor most of the fight, and Connor was able to get out on a scramble and get the KO. Chandler does have a gas tank though which is something Chad lacks at times. Connor is just really accurate, and great fight IQ.
You forget he was raised in the toughest streets in Dublin but should be a good night may the best man win

I agree. When he gets rocked or someone is getting the edge on him he turns full pitbull. He has a lot of grit but as far technical ability connor is a level above him if he's 100% healthy and has his endurance in check

Conor will more than likely smoke Chandler. Chandler tends to put him self out there too much. With that being said, I hope it's a great and legendary fight.
Chandler might retire Conor. Its very possible if not likely. Don't sleep on this man, he's been active at the top of the division in two promotions, and he's not coming off the layoff or the injury Conor is- and he's been focused on training- not acting and doing coke. I have always supported Conor and been a fair long before he made history with that fight with Aldo- but this sport is not great for people who are aging and one foot out of the door.
