Great bikes, I have the 2023 model. I like the basic style bike, no ride modes etc…Good power delivery also great for urban riding. Nice review

Never thought riding a bike was so complicated. My old Honda 4 had a speedo and tachometer, a few idiot lights. Had one of them new whizz bang electric start thingyies…never trusted it. Always kicked. Had one of those nice front discs brakes. They’re handy.

That muffle looks like you can carry a passenger on it.

The Classic the best looking one.... cannot believe they made the seats pop off with no tools to let people steal seats in less than a second.

That just doesn't really happen though.... Harleys for instance have had seats removable without tools for a long while.
I understand the concern tho, but it just isn't something that happens.

I test rode a sport scout a couple days ago and at stop lights, my thighs were getting cooked! That was my first time on a scout, so I am trying to figure out if it being 90 degrees outside was a bigger issue or if something was wrong with that bikes cooling or if that’s just how these bikes are. I have a Royal Enfield Meteor 350 now and obviously smaller engines don’t get as hot, but I’m trying to get an idea what is normal on a bigger V-twin that is liquid cooled. What was your experience with the engine heat in your riding it?

In terms of heat while riding a V-twin in general will be hotter due to the rear cylinder being towards the rider or right between their legs. The VRod was the hottest one I have ever been on. The heat on this Scout is less than the last gen, and to me it is not overly a hot motorcycle, though I have had many years on many VTwins so I have gotten used to their heat.

Thanks for the response/feedback! I figured there was going to be a level of heat that I have to live with. I appreciate you helping me get a better idea of what level of heat that is and that it is something I can get used to after riding the bike for a while. Thanks for the awesome videos and great info

I inspected and smelled and I'm happy to report that bull excrement was not found.
