You can get a pot & replant leeks & shallots. Cut the tops off & use or freeze, replant the bottoms & water & they should regrow in a sunny spot so you won’t have to buy them as often. Just keep using the tops. You can let some go to seed & save the seeds for replanting the next year.

The scotch fillet from Aldi is great. Agree pork mince is the way to go, so much cheaper than beef, we use it for bolognese, lasagne and tacos/nachos

those aldi potatoes go off so quickly!! you have to take them out of the bag and out them into a dry container. mine had growths on them within a week... so annoying i believe its the bag they are in

That’s crazy the Aldi cheese is still $9.75, Coles and Woolworths in QLD have put their home brand cheeses up again. 500g now $8 :(
