An in-depth video on how you finance the GT3, as well as the requirements in Switzerland would be welcome. I.e what size of deposit do you need to put down on a car like the GT3, how much does the bank expect you to earn in order for them to grant you a loan on a GT3 etc.

This scenery is just wonderful, literally a winter wonderland. For me here in Germany it's just miserable always wet and muddy no snow whatsoever. To then have a car like this must be a dream happy for you Luke, and big thumbs up for Toyota Switzerland👍🏻
I installed the Eventuri air intake and Akrapovic exhaust on my GR Yaris. Initially I thought that I wasted my money with the exhaust, however I have come to love it. You can drive at low rpm and the car has a nice growl but nothing obnoxious and then when you put down foot the extra sound really enhances the whole experience.

I am also thinking of changing the exhaust, but i m not sure what to choose between miltek non resonated and akrapovic
@@mihaijurchescu8331 If money is no issue I would go Akra but sadly the one for the Yaris is not legal here in Swiss.
@@carswithluke It's illegal everywhere, it's meant only for track. However I had it installed in Slovenia with the link pipe aswell, and have no problems whatsoever.

1. Plan towards it
2. Be frugal and minimal on spending (don't buywhy you don't need )
3. Save money towards retirement (Roth IRA/401k)
4. Build an emergency fund
5. Save to invest, this is the most important because it's a proven way to get richer. Very important to financial success.
One thing I've noticed is that on every video about this GR is, that there's always a combination of smirks, smiles and grins with no exceptions

Congrats on the car mate! Truly a perfect 2-car solution. I genuinely was surprised by the sound of the 3 cylinder, i really like it! Nice and throaty (well, it is half a 6 cylinder so makes sense - kind of like a v12 sounds similar to a 6 cylinder). Also, all the snow is giving me real FOMO!

I mean if you are a car enthusiast and you want to have fun in the snow the GR Yaris is probably the best car out there , small, nimble and incredible grip even on the snow . There's no bad days to drive this car apparently. Great choice 👍

I have the same black car from may 2021 and with some upgrades it is really great to drive on snowy mountain roads
Great vid as always Luke welcome to the GRY club! Toyota (UK supplying dealer) turned off my fake sound last week (no charge), so much better there’s still plenty of sound but now I can hear more of what the engine is doing, only other great mod is to change stock wiper blades to Bosch leaves no film like stock one do. Keep up the great work all the best Tony

I to would go for a black one to, not see as many on the road as the white ones even though they look really cool as well.
To turn off the fake sound on your GR Yaris you can get your local Toyota dealer to turn it off with their software or if you have the ability yourself you can plug into the OBD and switch it off that way. In any case it's not that difficult to do and still sounds pretty great with it turned off.

Your videos are the Only Videos I Never play on my Computer. I just have to play them on my 80" TV. Nothing else brings out your quality and Cinema Graphic Definition that's a must. Please never stop. Especially if its a Porsche. Yes, Porsches are my thing and your videos do them justice!
Super video and super car!! I installed the eventuri intake and the noises it produces are just amazing. Same with my Remus exhaust, very satisfied with it.
As for the fake sound I did it with carista obd, super simple and straightforward

I have exactly the same spec. What can i say... best car ive ever owned living in a city and enjoying quicker driving.
There are some tricks to turn off all the TC, but i think you know that. There is this mobile OBD2 dongle called CARISTA which lets you turn off the engine sounds or warning sounds etc.
Keep it happy with lots of oil changes cool down time and i think this beauty will be just fine!

Congrats Luke. Fortunate to own a GR Yaris myself (scarlet red, circuit pack) and just need a GT3 to go with it now, but the GR really is a very special thing. Made mine better (IMO) with a HKS exhaust and remap so would recommend that to give it the voice it deserves.

Sound Generator can be turned off with the carista app and an odb2 dongle, I used the trial period.
Another tip, don't bother with a mirror raiser, you won't see further than 50m behind with it!
The perfect garage for me is my Caterham S3 Cup 1600K and an Impreza WRX wagon ! (Because kids !) !

👍 with Carista you can turn off the sound in the speakers, it's really cheap obd on the internet, and you can activate other options!

May I suggest a look at Alunox for an exhaust, can build to spec in titanium pretty reasonably +the CHF:GBP is favourable to say the least! Coupled with the Swiss TUV/Euro-6 approved HJS/Miltek sportcat down pipe and a carista ODB delete of engine noise augmentation it's the perfect practical rally hatch.
