At 2:03 it say compatible with cars without isofix but I cannot find a installation guide for it without isofix, i checked the online manual on cybex website and still only show how to install with isofix, so is this safe while using the guard in a car thats not compatible with isofix and if it is safe how do i find out how to install it correctly without isofix whilst still using the guard?
@@Strawhat_Lz Hey There! You would install the seat the exact same way as you would with ISOfix, except the ISOfix arms would be folded away and you use only the vehicle seat belt.
Thank god for this. Spent half an hour trying to work out how to get the group 1 base off. Please make your manuals usable - it is NOT clear it slides off towards the back.
Hey Ian! Glad to hear you managed it and that the video helped! We have forwarded this on to our product team who will certainly take everything on board and use this together with all other feedback for future projects and product development.
Hey Dalibor! Thanks for getting in touch. Those are the belt routings for the vehicle seat belt. You do not use them until you switch the seat into the group 2/3 configuration by removing the base and the impact shield. Hope this clarifies things.
@@cybexglobal hi guys, I'm a bit Confused then. As our one looks same as the one in thumbnail and it doesn't have the adjustable linear side impact protection system either?
Hi, should i use the locking clip if my car seat belt is ELR type? Most vehicles in Malaysia is ELR type. Or can i use the Lap belt only to secure the impact shield.
Hi Liong! Thanks for getting in touch. You should always use both parts of the seat belt. It is not allowed to use just the lap belt when securing the child in out Pallas seats.
Hi! The Pallas S-Fix, much like the Pallas M-fix, is a Group 1/2/3 seat designed for children weighing at least 9 kg to a maximum of 36 kg. The child is protected by an adjustable impact shield. For children weighing over 18 kg, both seats must be converted into a Group 2/3 seat from the CYBEX Solution family in just a few simple steps. Both the Pallas M-Fix and the Pallas S-Fix are ISOFIX Connect seats. They are fitted with fold-away connectors, making them compatible with vehicles without the ISOFIX system as well. Both car seats are designed with a 3-position reclining headrest. They are also equipped with a base that can be easily adjusted with just one hand, so that the seat can be positioned in a comfortable recline function. The main difference between both seats lies in their design. The Pallas S-fix follows a new design DNA and is 15% more spacious than the Pallas M-Fix due to material adjustments in the interior of the seat. At the same time, the Pallas S-Fix is 10% narrower than the Pallas M-Fix with regards to the external dimensions of the seat. Other safety features include the Linear Side-impact Protection System (L. S. P. ) which both car seats are equipped with, but which has been further optimized in case of the Pallas S-fix.
@@cybexglobal thanks, that helps a lot , could you tell them to create a comparison table on the site? I spend hours trying to see the diff between models and its really hard to get them this input helps
Please help! I removed the cover to was and I cannot put it back. How can I put the cover back, any detailed instructions available ( 1 page description in the user manual is not good enough) ?

Amazing!!
Hello, can I know what is the difference between cybex pallas m-fix sl and palla-fix? Thank you.
Hey Sandra, thanks for reaching out. The Pallas M-Fix has a 3-position reclining headrest :)
@@cybexglobal thx👍
My son weight is 36.8kgs now, the height is 129cm. Can he still use this car seat? He has been using it for 4 years
Doesn't the belt go through the red hook (shoulder belt). At 2:45s of the video...? Why is there a red hook on both sides?

The seat in the image on thumbnail is different from the seat in the video?
Hey Nick! It is just a different colour :)

@@njewell07175 Hey Nick! You might have the SL version. You can confirm this with the sticker located on the bottom of the seat.
