Dragonball (Z) Kai Episode 24
When people talk about vegeta's L's in Z they only think about cell,buu and frieza
They dont remember the absolute beatings the likes of zarbon and recoome put on him
I don't. The Recoome beat down is one of my favorites.
To be honest, this is one of my favorite fights in the whole Dragon ball series.
Zarbon: “In this form I'm capable of snapping your neck like a twig.”
So why didn't you?...
He needed to question him
Maybe he wanted to torture him more
I thought Frieza wanted him back alive
Frieza needed him alive to find information on the Dragon Balls
He was really trying to kill him here but as usual with DBZ fights Zarbon didn’t use the most efficient way to kill him. Frieza made the same mistake with Goku and look what happened there.
Looking back at this fight, vegeta definitely came a long way
Zarbon really was impressive to be honest, even after his zenkai vegeta NEEDED to use dust and strike an already broken plate piece to defeat zarbon.
But he was going to best him anyways lol. Those are just fight tactics.
SarkasmaTV He didn’t need to do that to win, it’s obvious.
It was a simple strategy but something like that is rarely seen in DB fights now. I miss that.

Vegeta didnt receive a zenkai at this point because he wasnt near death or beaten really bad.. He was just defeated and he escaped.. It wasnt much of a powerup it was just the regular saiyan fight to fight improvement/powerboost
I’m not the biggest fan of Johnson’s soundtrack, but damn it worked great for this fight.

Watching Vegeta get trashed never gets old to me. Hahahaha!
He's actually the one whose arc in the series is the best though.

This version seems a little off. Not as intense as it should be with the sound effects and stuff.
Where did the feathers come from? 🤔
In the original DBZ, the feathers came from a stork that Vegeta killed by drowning. Vegeta was badly beaten to the point that he couldn’t muster the strength to resurface himself but there were some storks nearby resting and he managed to grab one by the throat and pull it under in order to pull himself out of the water, leaving the feathers behind as the remains. The Kai version here cut out that small scene since it was probably considered to be some extra filler but they could’ve also have simply edit out the feathers to not create confusion.
