Looking forward to watching your build progress! I have a 18' sq5 on the 034 stage 1 e85 tune, stage 2 tcu, wagner tuning intercooler, awe non res full exhaust, ecs intake. I love it as my daily driver, fun and practical. Last 0-60 run I did with my p3 vent gauge timing me was 3.6 seconds, really surprises some people how hard it pulls off the line!

Welcome to B9 family! I have been following you since you got B8 SQ5, shortly after you got rid of it and got S6, I was able to get B8 SQ5 for myself, didn't last long, and a few months ago got B9 SQ5. Such a big difference between two cars.
For mods, if you are going to lower it, go with CETE, fully adjustable through your phone!
Definitely go straight to Stage 2 (myself I went with EPL), then FMIC and Intake (myself got AWE for both).
Lastly, if you want some more sound from exhaust, either ECS mid pipe delete or full exhaust from AWE.
And Forge DV if you want more noise from the turbo.

Glad to see an SQ5 back on the channel! I loved all of the previous clean Audi builds and excited to see where this one goes! I do love that Green and wish you could have found one but Chalk is still such a nice color! Also the foot prints on the back of the seat made me laugh and cry to myself. I have a little one on the way so know I'll be cleaning the same marks off soon enough!

Great pick and excited to see what you do! I love my 2018 mythos black metallic SQ5, by far favorite car I’ve owned so far. In photos the 20” 5 split spokes seem less than great but in person they’re awesome, plus the ride is WAY better for busted PNW roads. I might do an inter cooler in the near future but want it to last so not too much modding for me, but am doing some nice OEM+ interior mods

So sick. I’ve got a B9 S5 sportback, stage 2 with 034Motorsport, and couldn’t be any happier. You’re gonna have a blast with the B9 platform. Was just thinking the other day “maybe I should’ve gotten an sq5 to tow with”. Please get more B9 parts on FCP!!! Especially oil change packages that require 0W20 VW spec 508.00/509.00 oil, almost impossible to find. Looking forward to your videos.

Just got my b9 s4 in February i say one very useful cheap modification is the 034 trans mount. Makes the shifts so much crisper. Then a tune and intercooler

Great looking suv and very nice color. Hate the fake exhaust tips Audi is doing especially on the sporty SQ5! These suvs are fun. Great handling and quick. I used to own a Mercedes’ glc43 amg so similar performance as the SQ5

I just bought a 2018 sq5 prestige black/black, I'll be with you all the way through the build, most likely ill be pressing button on mine as well @IgnitionTube
For the last ~18 months I've had a (B9.5) 2021 SQ5 Prestige w/Sport Package (PLUS the Audi add-on (legit) exhaust tips). IMO, it's best in class by a lot (and in many others, too). The combination of comfort, quality, NVH, utility/size, and infotainment usefulness, is unmatched. With the suspension in Dynamic mode it sits low enough to almost qualify as a hatchback. It handles well enough, is fairly quick (up to about 80 mph - then it slows notably), the exhaust sound is quite good for a turbo and the transmission works great in manual. Only mods thus far are the aforementioned exhaust tips (a PITA to properly modify the rear valence and to get the driver side tip level) and hacking the driver side exhaust flap to always remain open. Planning on an APR stage 1 tune (not ready yet, but they're working on it) and maybe a TCU tune if/when it's available.
Noice🤘🏻🤘🏻 excited to see this build ( we have a 14’ Q7 prestige, not stock … sq5 might be next for the family vehicle )

One suggestion… I know you said you’re getting links installed but the CETE module is a game changer if you can source one. Anyway, can’t wait to see what u do with this one. Congrats

I just tuned my b9 s4 with EPL and its amazing how much they have hidden away in these cars. But I highly recommend going full bolt ons and getting a tune on that monster

I drove Porsches for the last 7 years, recently totaled my Cayenne, and bought a 2019 SQ5 B9.
I love it. It’s the best drivers car I’ve ever owned (and I have a 987 😂).
It’s fully loaded just like this one, and I’m just now finding out it was a rarity 🤷♀️
Congrats. I specifically opted out 21 wheels (and dynamic steering) in my 2018 SQ5 Prestige. And I know wheels design isn't great, but roads here in Mass just suck for low profile wheels and no air susp can make it better. Great color! And YES for both Winter and Sport packages. The only complain is stupid plastic exhaust. I wish there where option for real sport exhaust like in B9.5. (which is must have there. The plastic exhaust tips even worse!!!)

We have a seven year old that still violates the seats with his shoes. Though not as much when he was younger. Just traded my B8 S4 in for a C8 S6. Hopefully there's more after market goodies for this in the works.
Ha ha, the footprints on the back of the passenger seat is 100% my life too man. I have a 2021 VW Tiguan R Line, so similar size. Get used to cleaning them off on the regular! Congrats on the new ride, looks sick.
He even put them on the S6, it was just less obvious because of the red 😂😂

That's a sweet find. Looking forward to the SQ5 content. 9:57 You mentioned changing to heated wheel on the S6. Did you have to change the clock spring? Was it the same airbag? I have the sport steering wheel on S7. Picked up a heated wheel without airbag.

I have a 2019 SQ5 prem + with s sport package, nappa, carbon inlays, rings. Moonlight Blue/blk. Got it preowned w/ 18k miles last Sept. Really like it. I find the 3.0L a little slow to wake up off the bottom so looking forward to see if you find a solution to improve the lag.
Everyone has done everything with the SQ5 seems like. You can just smash their records. 😜 RS5 all day.
