Also, I'm glad you picked up that even Crown is lowkey dark. People have been saying since their debut that they "wish TXT would try a darker theme." It's been dark. Like super dark. What they meant was sexy. But there are still minors in the group and they, like their older brothers, don't want to do the shirtless sex-appeal route. Anyway, it really irritates me when people say it's "bubblegum" or light stuff cause it's really heavy if you read the lyrics and understand the story.

I actually don't want them to go to that "sexy" concept just because it is what groups do and it is what most people want to see. Txt is known to be a unique group. I love the duality of their music videos, the happy and sunshine the music video feels but then you read the lyrics and see another side.

I would say the only similarity between TXT and BTS is that they’re under bighit ent. TXT is quite different in every other way but they’re always associated with “BTS’s little brothers” when they deserve their own identity outside of BTS. They’re so much more than just little brothers. I mean ITZY is Twice’s little sisters but no one ever says that. So like just a heads up to anyone who says that, it actually does more damage than good at certain times.

Lol when was it *never* dark? The m/v may be cute, but concept is based on storyline, expressions and most importantly, lyrics. For example, many people still believe Dance The Night Away by TWICE is a cute concept. (PS - if anyone doesn't know, it's a horror concept :) )
Correction, I know you didn't researched about TXT so I'm going to say it here:
There is no rap line in TXT, no vocal line neither dance line. All of them are dancers, vocalists and rappers, all of them can do all these 3 (To make it simple for you: There are no positions in the group)
CROWN is about expressing their growing pains through horns.
RUN AWAY is about escaping from reality and reaching a special place only with your friends
CAT & DOG is a song about being with the one you want forever, just like the lyrics said "I wanna be your dog", and to not be left alone.
CAN'T YOU SEE ME? is about confusion and loneliness and the boys feels like they collide with reality and in the end they discover conflicts in their friendship. Also, the resentment towards friends and desire to be saved by them.
If you look deep into the lyrics, all the songs are darker than the choreography or background music. If you want to know more, please let me know.

10:52 to clarify, they drop albums and their title track gets an mv, along with one of their sides. Puma was part of the can't you see me album
Actually they even released 3 MVs per comeback. TDC: Star (CROWN, Cat&Dog, Nap of a star), TDC: Magic (Run Away, Angel or Devil, Magic Island) and TDC: Eternity (CYSM, Puma, Eternally)! So a whole of 2 besides got an MV until now, they're really working EXTRA HARD 🙈💙
