7 Wheat Penny Rolls From A Bank Teller?!

- I walked into a bank and asked the teller for some penny rolls... She counts me out $10 worth and 7 of the rolls were ALL WHEATIES!
I love it when lady luck looks my way... I just recently started getting back into coin collecting and coin roll hunting so to have this kind of luck on my first bank visit was either a sign or just plain dumb luck!
Either way, I'll take it...
In this video, I will run you through my finds. A lot of the coins were from the 40's and 50's, but we did get a few teens, twenties and a handful of 30's!

A little bit of bank luck when I was able to get handed 7 rolls of all wheaties! It was a fun hunt and a good day.
I couldn't add a comment on the giveaway..... Don't know why.

Going back and watching this. This right here is what it's all about. It's always nice finding one or two here and there, but finding gems like this really makes me excited. First bank box I ever got was all hand rolled. It was almost a sunk box until close to the end, and a single roll had 17 wheaties in it. I was hooked ever since.

Yeah my oldest Penney is a 1818, I also have a 1883 one dollar coin that is almost pristine, Little to no scratches and stains.

Those wrappers are very vintage! Those are the same that I got from a relative. Awesome score!

That’s really awesome! I had something like that happen but the opposite. I had rolls of uncirculated coins!
I had a box where 80% of the rolls were nothing, but then there were 9 rolls with almost full wheaty rolls which was crazy!

Went to my OWN bank where I have an account & several times now they said that they "do not ANY coin rolls." I've only been able to get several roll of late Kennedy halve but NO pennies, nickles, dimes or quarters. Went to another bank but not being a customer there, they refused but also told me that there is a coin shortage. So...so much for coin rolling.
Now I just want to ask for customer wrapped rolls!

Many of those. It is the 1909-S VDB that is a tough one, but I have found 1 in a customer roll.

Hand rolls are usually searched. Hence yours was searched and collected all the wheat pennies together. It wasn't machined. Someone put all those wheat together.

It's probably plated. I actually found one at my local coin store and they magnet tested it only to find out it's fake. There are MANY MANY MANY plated `44 steels, so get a 1943 steel and your 44 steel and if the 44 Steel jumps to the magnet much slower than the 43 Steel it is fake. If it jumps to the magnet at the exact same speed, then you might be talking about some money. If that is the case take it to your local coin store or gold and silver shop (if they do coins) and have them value it professionally.
I'll be the hundredth comment this video , this and others in late 2017 got me motivated to go to my bank 2 days before 2017 Christmas , the lady gave me 5 or 6 rolls of the pink penny rolls and there the ones spelled "PennieS" , i had already started getting small amounts of rolls there bur after these 2 days i was hooked i got some ones collection of all wheat's and oddly enough a mercury dime in one roll after those 2 days that one lady will never forget me ( there bank made 2 persons go in back room to open vault and retrieve money ) she is gone now from that bank but i always think of my teller i nicked named "penny" ...( one time she just stood there after i asked for rolls and she had a blank look into her face as she dazed into the sea of Walmart ) yeah she wont forget me, later she would see me coming i would go to a different teller ..on purpose ,she would have one eye on me i would ask for rolls she would shout out despite what she was doing , or who she was helping and say "we only have fifty cents"......keep hunting soon the penny /cent will be gone ?
