365 days I crewed on sailboats from San Diego, USA all the way down to Panama, stopping in Mexico and Costa Rica. After Panama crossing the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand stopping at islands like the Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, Tonga and Fiji
45 days I traveled through New Zealand from the Northernmost point to the Southernmost point, then
100 days I traveled by motorbike through Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, then
365 days I traveled in my self-built campervan from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, then
365 days I traveled with this van through Iran and Pakistan, then
180 days I built an off-grid log cabin in the woods in Spain, then
180 days I restored an old sailboat in Guatemala, then
365 days I traveled with this sailboat from Guatemala to Honduras, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Grenada and more islands in the East Caribbean

In the fall of 1997 I was flying back north from Barbados and we flew right beside Montserrat and we could see the active volcano out the window.
We anchored there last February for 1 night. It was really rolly too. When we left early in the morning for Guadeloupe we sailed just off the shore close to Plymouth. The volcano was venting and emitting a strong sulphur smell. It was kind of creepy!
What an experience!

Did you know that where Isles Bay Beach Bar is built was beach before the volcano? There’s a little roundabout just before the bar, after that the road is unpaved to the bar because the beach was almost up to the roundabout. I’ve been following you guys for some time, I’m a tour guide and I was doing a tour while you were doing yours, I passed you waiting for the young lady to let you into the exclusion zone, so I’m not saying that you should have called me but I realise that either there’s a few things your driver didn’t tell you or he told you the wrong things, because some of your comments were not factual.
