Makes me miss my 79 Bronco I had for ten years, 400 bored 40 over, Wiend aluminun intake, 625 Carter AFB, headers,3" exhaust. I am currently building a 1972 IH Scout just like the older 4x4's sure beats the heck out of these newer trucks now, that is for sure.

Ok, cool, Im real glad youu responded back. So I drove 6 hours to pick up a dana 60 axle for $1000, its off a 96 pickup truck, I want to keep the coil springs in front, how do I go about putting this thing on? Im so lost.

My dad has a 78 bronco with 400 and I got a 79 ford with 429, but with the 44's were always breaking the ears off the axel shafts and such. we went with the bullet proof chrome/molly yukon parts and still nothing but problems. looks like you guys are all running well. WHAT FRONT AXLES DO YOU RUN?
Rumerboyz try extending your vent tubes and running them to the top of your engine compartment that will help some in keeping water out, factory usually runs them to the bottom of cab and if you go deeper than that they will suck In water

I love playing in the deep water and mud, but just had to replace the bearing, locking hub and all the Ball joints up front! Any info would be great, because I'm still going to go off-road and drive through flooded streets!!!!
