What a delightful cruise. Sad to hear about the deer. I seen a boater before helping a live one get out of a lock. Heavy hard work. Big animal. Most enjoyable trip so relaxing thank you Phil.
I've rescued a few live things from the canal before... including Bushka just a few minutes ago! He's ok.

No, not really unless it is in a tent.

Yes, they only take a couple of hours to record but days to edit, so a big backlog builds up. I recorded very few in 2023. Starting recording cruises again in 2024...
Hi, are you moored close to the "guard geese" on the Oxford currently?
Yes that was me. The geese attacked my feet as I walked along the gunwale! Have moved on now.
Hi Phil. How do boaters go about getting to see a doctor or vet for your cats? Is there a special allowance for continuous cruisers to drop in to one, wherever you might be moored?
You should be able to see one as a temporary patient but some practises can be difficult.

Hi Phil,just saw an article saying all cats must be microchipped by June 10th or owners can be fined.I’ve not heard of this before and I wonder what you think about it,ie a good thing or government going too far?
