- The Last of Us Part II is finally here! And all I can really say about this video is: better late than never! In this episode 1 of my The Last of Us Part II Playthrough we pick up Joel and Ellie’s Journey 5 years after the end of The Last of Us Part I as well as meeting a ton of brand new characters.

Better late than never! Also, YT is still processing the video so it’ll probably take a little while longer until it’s available in HD. But it was taking so long I figured I might as well publish it and let the quality update while it’s live. Since I still obviously haven’t finished the game myself my interactions with you guys in the comments will be limited as to avoid spoilers but I’ll respond to the best of my ability!
I haven't finished it either. So far I'm enjoying it. About 5 hours in. Yours is the only channel I've watched in weeks. Not sure I'll watch the others until I'm done and can fully discuss the game. Good luck

It's your playthrough bro! You've waited 7 years for this game so enjoy it how you want to. Period. I'll be watching as I'm ahead of you and I didn't pay as much attention to all the signs etc so I'm glad someone did so I can appreciate those moments more after the fact.👍🏽
Honestly, I'm glad you're coming in open minded rather than not giving it a chance. I had some of it spoiled, but not all of it. I personally liked all of it- it's just extremely different from the first game.
Of course! I was spoiled quite badly, but I was always going to give it a chance regardless. It doesn’t matter that nothing beats part I in my mind. ND still always make phenomenally well made and fun games.

I love that you pay attention to a lot of little details. So many, maybe all of them, miss dialogues, little interesting details about the game world lore and it gets repetitive. Nice to have someone who have a great understanding of the game for once.

Funny thing, quite irrelevant, Future days originally peformed by Pearl Jam on the album Lightning Bolt was released on October 11, 2013.
The Cordyceps outbreak in Austin occured on September 27, so I'm pretty sure Joel downloaded a leak version of the album for Sarah...

This game should've been called part2, part3 and part4. The story is so much more complex than the first game that saying it's part2 doesn't give it justice. Part1 feels like the beginning of the game if you shrunk it down length wise.
