Chicken fries are pretty good! They beat the chicken nuggets at Wendy’s--they don't taste as good as I remember, which is unfortunate. After orchestra practice down in my home state’s capital of Columbus, my mother, one of her friends, and I stop at Wendy’s. Their lemonades are good, but not much else can sell me.

I loved salad shakers. To this day I like to seal my salads in a container and vigorously shake them. It works way better than traditional tossing methods.
Same! I wish they’d bring it back. Made it so much easier to eat in a car

I just made a comment before I saw yours and I literally said that my mum didn't complain because I was a kid who liked eating salad! And now that I'm in my 30's.. salad is still my favourite food.
Because there's so much you can do with one. So many ways you can make one and make it delicious.

Hell yeah it was. It was decent when it came back, but not the same. I was a kid and didn’t know what a calzone was, so every time I said I want a “p’zone” people thought I was stupid

I remember in the 90s on certain special days my mom would take me to taco bell where I’d always get a nacho bell grande, then we’d head over to blockbuster so I can pick out 2 games. Oh how I wish I could go back 😢

Stuffed quesadilla tacos seem a lot like Taco Bell's cheesy gordita crunch
The pickle slush is definitely something I would try. During the summer, I buy lots of these pickle juice Popsicles. They're cheap, have a good bit of electrolytes, and the pickle taste is slightly spicy but very refreshing.
It wasn't good but that's more on their recipe. Make it at home and it's very good
I love pickles but I'm worried that it would be awful.
I remember when the gordita was two taco shells.
How did I not know about the peanut butter bacon milkshake? I love milkshakes, and I've been eating that combo on toast since I was a kid.
Chicken fries are always a favorite, and I recently tried the triangular Jack In The Box Mac and Cheese bites. I'd totally try the fries with pumpkin spice sauce.

I do not think the P'Zone from Pizza Hut was that crazy a concoction. I mean businesses had been selling calzones long before Pizza Hut has.

When it came to the McDonalds shaker salad, it flopped because the salad would be stacked to the top, so when you'd add the dressing, there was never enough room in the cup to shake the dressing all around.
I'd get the chicken one, dump it into a bowl, add the dressing, and also aoli sauce that they had available. I'd mix it all around, and that's how I'd have it.
The salad itself was actually really tasty and I just preferred my salads over-dressed.
Hey, my mum didn't complain because I was a 12 year old who loved eating salad.
And now I'm in my 30's, salad is still my favourite food. 🤷🏼♀️
I LOVE salads! What I do is make a salad in Tupperware, put in dressing and shake it up. Works just fine. 😊

They say 'you don't make friends with salad' but that's not true - hello there friend! Lol
Here's a recipe that I really like:
- Arugala/rocket (depending on where you're from)
- baby spinich leaves
- pine nuts
- pepitas (I think they're pumpkin seeds?)
- sliced boccochini (small Mozzarella balls)
- sliced cherry tomatoes
- lemon/lime Mayo
Then add bacon bits/diced steak/shredded chicken etc if you want meat in your salad.
(You could put in 'meat' strips if you fancy a lighter salad or if you're a meat-free person. I respect everyone's choices ❤️✌️)
Measure with your soul, you know what you like.
Or if you don't like arugala/rocket, you can substitute for different kinds of lettuce or obviously watch out for allergies and don't add pine nuts if you've got a nut allergy.
And I'm pretty sure there are vegan cheese options available if you're vegan or have a dairy allergy/intolerance.
It's super simple, but is really good. The good thing about salads is that there's so many ways you can take a recipe, change it to suit you personally and make it your own. Xx

I miss being a 2000s kid when all I needed was a fruit loops cereal stick, dragon ball z kai on nicktoons (i also miss all the wacky commercials of early 2000s lol), computer games on addictive games... back when life wasn't so depressing... still can't believe I'm turning 21 at the end of the month....
If you're depressed at 21, I feel bad for you in 20 years.
KFC here in Ontario, Canada, brought back the Double Down briefly last year and I got the opportunity to try it... sooooo delicious!
- I've had the P'Zones! They've come and gone numerous times over the years.
- I also had the Chicken Fries, but they tasted weird.
- I had the cheesey maccaroni bites from Burger King, but not Jack-In-the-Box.
- I had the Double Down, and it was way too extreme for me!
- I think I had the Halloween Whopper.
A couple of these items I wish I had when they were around.
Most of these are not bad ideas.. but the Pickle Shake and the Spam and Oreo Burger... those are down right sacrilegious!!!
i love the dyi burgers its great idea because the people who buy them cant really complain cause they choosed their own ingredients

I actually liked the McDonald's shaker salads. My favorite was the Caesar.
To this day on the rare occasion I go to get an egg mcmuffin I still order a hashbrown and put half of it on the sandwich. It's the only way to eat it imo

For Taco Bell, a large amount of purple dye turns your poop green for some reason, and I would bet they used a lot of purple dye, instead of black, to get the black look. Also, KFC's double down was delicious.
You guys can totally do a single episode on what Pizza Hut in Taiwan put on their pizza.
2004 & 2005 awesome! I wish I tried 2007,2008,2010 and maybe 2020 foods.

I sell shaved ice from a food truck here in Houston. And I can tell you, pickle juice shaved ice is my #1 seller here in the summer. I'll fill the cup halyway, then add diced pickles, finish it off, add more diced pickles to the top, and charge $6. Construction workers, auto mechanics, dealerships, and generally people outside in the heat, love those things. It has electrolytes, replenishs sodium, and keeps you from cramping up in the brutal summer heat.
I remember Hardee's monster burger back in the mid 90s, it was really good I remember. And also they had a three cheese burger or something like that back in around 1994, it was very good too, and was oval shaped
I made the McDonald's oreo, mayonnaise and spam sandwich. The one I made look like the photo and tasted pretty good.
The salad in the cup reminded me of the carnival hustle pizza in a cup

I have tried a lot of them from the salad shaker the 6$ burger which was great the pickle slushie. But in 2012 I have never heard of the crown pizza I do remember the hot dog pizza from Pizza Hut my kids loved it.
