You can make your own cornbread from scatch just buy some cornmeal mix with milk and flour milk egg baking powder and and little salt to taste

Yes I usually get jiffy cornbread if I can’t homemade. If it tastes salty with milk try with water next time see if it’s any better

You can get yellow or white cornmeal. NOt sure why it was salty. I have used mix like that and it was fine.

Dennis i am sure it doesn't taste like regular cornbread do to the added Buttermilk they have in it. There is one without the Buttermilk and it is good. Jiffy mix is my favorite but I have used the Martha one but not with Buttermilk. Wish it didn't take so long for stuff to get to you from US I would send you the Jiffy mix. But it is not hard to make from scratch cornbread and all ingredients should be available in Philippines good luck.

In the US, there is corn bread, and there are corn muffins. Corn muffins are a little sweet corn bread is not. I'm with you... I am not a fan of.corn bread. I prefer the muffins.
