Real, they covered up two separate murders and the massacre of the student council just to secure their reputation
also, the death row inmate was only "accepted" due to the fact that he was immune to the disease spreading in the outside world, and on top of that, it was just staged for a show. He only "thought" he was a death row inmate.
FR THO THEY LITERALLY ALLOWED THE HEADMATER TO TRAP THE STUDENTS INSIDE OF IT (i don't really remeber anything else they did other then trapping people in the school and accepting dangerous people into the school)
Tbh my answer to that question would be simple:
the first and second game did not happen irl so it was only for the plot, and in the third game they aren't even hope's peak students

Let's not forget that Yasuhiro is an ultimate student and also he predicted literally the bad ending and canonically the fact that after chapter 3 there wasn't gonna be anymore homocides because Sakura's a suicide.
@@Cynder024normally a fortune teller is under 1% because fortunte telling isn't real. If anything happens it's because of coincidence or luck on their end. Body language is used mostly on fortunte telling. What's special about yasuhiro is he actually sees predictions and tells fortunes. I still hate him as a character though cuz all he did the entire story was complain or act like a druggie.
On the subject of Kaito and his jacket, when I first saw his sprites I thought he was just missing an arm and had nothing to hold it on that side. I actually think that could have been cool, to have a Kaito who was maybe born without an arm or lost it in an accident, but is still the ultimate astronaut. Shrug

I think the thing about Mikan was wrong, well just the first part. She faked her suicide in the hospital, but she made the room look like the music venue(the curtains and ladder). They even mentioned it towards the end of her case.

@@Nurp8 that is true but still, mikan was in the middle of killing ibuki, hiyoko walks in interrupting mikan, mikan leaves ibuki to go kill hiyoko, after killing hiyoko she goes back to killing ibuki.
That's why in the case we find blood (hiyoko's) on the hospital shoes.

Complementing what tons of other coments said to explain those:
Before everyone woke up in THH, Junko and Mukuro could've easily made the execution grounds for each one of their classmates, and use them as things went on. In DR2, it's a virtual world, so anything goes. In V3, if it's a show, they probably had a massive budged to make massive executions. Also, about Junko's execution, she probably took about 1 second of each execution before getting squished
Hope's Peak has so much influence that they get give schoorlaships to anyone they want. The governament was probably "We won't even ask what's up with these kids"
The execution in Chapt 5 was meant to be Kiyoko's, but Monokuma changed last minute to make Makoto the killer and he was led to her execution. And he most likely fell on top of a trash pile that cushioned his fall.
Hope's peak researched luck, I mean tehre are two Ultimate Lucky Students, so it wouldn't be farfetched to find a way to artificialy created luck
You are underestimating the power of a chain. Also, they are in the virtual world, and everything in there can be explained with "it's a virtual world, anything goes"
Looking from outside, leaving Ryoma's body in his lab was safer, but Kirumi wanted to pin the blame on Himiko since Ryoma's body would be discovered during her show. Kiyo killed Angie in her lab and tryed to make it look like the ritual failed or something, and regardless of that, he already planned to kill some during the seyance, he just went up ahead and did it, despite having already killed someone else (and don't think "why would he do that?", the guy was a psychopath who wanted to kill 100 girls)
I can answer why they let a serial killer run free without restraining her, because Byakuya could literally her to sit down and she would sit down like a puppy
Mikan's case didn't happen like this,... + the case has no sense sometimes because it was changed in a rush, Fuyuhiko was supposed to b killed instead of saionji

Makoto landed on a large pile of garbage in the trash room. That’s how he survived. He could of fallen unconscious afterwards and rolled off the trash heap and onto the floor.
You know, a lot of your problems are actually explained and actually does make sense.
- You're completely wrong about the Mikan case. She didn't kill them in 5 minutes at all. She killed them both in the middle of the night. The only thing she did during those 10 minutes was bring back the camera from the hospital to make us think it was in the music venue, removing what was hiding Hiyoko's body, and "lock" the door. When you woke up, the two murders were already done. (you may want to redo this case since you seem to not remember anything correctly)
- The thing with Juzo wanting to hide his secret actually make sense if you remember the fact that they are in JAPAN, not in the US. In Japan, being gay is not really something you can brag about, so it makes sense you would want to keep that a secret if you live there.
- Kaito explained right before you start investigating why he didn't log back in the virtual world after being disconnected. He wasn't sure if it was okay or if that would cause problems since Miu didn't give any details about that, so he played it safe by not trying it in case it was a bad thing to do. He didn't know he was manually disconnected. He thought it was a bug or something. Also, even if he had logged back in, he wouldn't have warned the others about the incoming murder since he had no idea about it at all. He would just have started searching for the secret of the outside world again like he was supposed to. Plus, he always believed in his friends, and they were supposed to work together to search for the secret of the outside world so that's one more reason he wouldn't think there would be a murder at a time like this.
- You're a bit too harsh with the "There's no buddy system, you're not going to escape, you're all going to die !" thing. If it happened to you in real life, OF COURSE you would try to escape with everyone ! Of course you would refuse to play the game your kidnapper wants you to do ! I don't know what you're thinking but what you see in these games is actually what real people WOULD do in real life. Of course they still believe in each other after a murder. It's always because of something Monokuma brought up, so of course they would still believe in others and team up against the bear. Everything happens because of Monokuma, why would they go against the others ? What else did you expect ? Would you really go against someone in the same boat instead of going against your kidnapper ? Are you the first game version of Byakuya ? The Byakuya from before chapter 4 ? Because by listening to you about that subject, that's the vibes I get. And, let's be honest, that's not the most liked version of Byakuya...
- The ghost thing is just Yasuhiro being stupid, like always... Are you really surprised by this point ? Plus, a trial usually starts with a very easy debate as a warm up for the player. Hiro's stupidity was just an excuse to do that. Also, the burger thing was just to make us understand that even though he is incredibly stupid, his fortune-telling abilities are actually genuine. A lot of what he predict in the game actually comes true after all. The burger scene was just to make us understand that. The fact that his experience with the burger made him realize something and it turned out it was true, that was supposed to make us think "what if another stupid thing he said is true ?" Anyway, Hiro's abilities are genuine but it is a fact that he is incredibly stupid, so don't make too big of a deal of it.
- Yeah, of course, try to confine Genocide Jack if you want to so badly. You might end up being her next victim... Everyone is scared of her, you can't blame anyone, really. Plus, the way she kills was made clear, so she can't do it anymore since everyone already knows everything about her killing methods. If she does kill someone after chapter two, it will be over in a matter of seconds for her and she know it. She's not stupid, she knows she can't kill anymore, because she gets executed if she does. Plus, she did say she only kills "adorable men", and the only person she was seeing as adorable in the school was Byakuya, which litteraly nobody liked at this point. They knew if she went to kill someone, it would have been him. The guy they all hate. But we didn't know at this point that she already decided not to kill anymore (because of what happened in the outside world), so she ended up never killing him.
- Twilight syndrome murder case was more important than that. It's the motive, dude. The motive. The murder wouldn't have happened without that thing. Plus, they already knew about the plot twist "we already knew eachother before and got our memories erased". They were just in denial and refused to acklowledge it, believing it to be full BS. Monokuma even showed Mahiru as a complice to Fuyuhiko's sister murder while we know from the anime that wasn't true at all. But if Monokuma hadn't shown this specific thing, Fuyuhiko and Peko wouldn't have done anything to Mahiru. She would not have known about it and would have been to the beach with the others and there wouldn't have been any murder. Also, without all of that, Mahiru and Peko would both be still alive but Fuyuhiko probably would've kept insulting everyone till the end and would never have had his character developement.
- What Byakuya did with the evidence in case 2 was not because he was "bored". He was making an experiment. He said it himself : "Thanks to that, I was able to do an interesting experiment. Now I know who I have to watch out for when I do decide to commit a murder." He WAS planning to commit a murder eventually. He did all of that to prepare for it. He ended up not murdering anyone in the end but that's because of Sakura's suicide that changed his mind. He probably would've tried to kill Makoto or Kyoko since they were the only ones in his way and the others were all dumb (except for Celeste, which is why he was very pleased to take her down).
As you can see, you said all of that "does not make sense" while it actually does. Even Kiyo's incest thing does make sense if you take the time to really think about it and analyse the information that we have. I will not go into too much detail, so let's just say he was abused by his sister since he was very young and was deeply traumatized by it. That could happen to anyone. I mean yeah, the incest theme is something we would probably have been better without, I honestly think it ruined Kiyo's character, but it's understandable when you know Kiyo's traumatizing backstory.
Anyway, I think you should add "This is just my opinion, what I say is not necessarily true." when you say stuff like that. That way there would be no problem. Because if you're trying to share actual facts and it turns out you are wrong, then there is a need to correct the mistakes. At least in my point of view. You can understand why I felt the need to correct you here, I hope.

On the subject of Junko getting food, how exactly was Jin Kirigiri planning on feeding the students long term? The game makes is plainly clear that there was a possible chance that the students would have to spend the rest of their *natural* lives in the school building, which would include their adulthood, and possibly even their children's and grandchildren's lives should they have any, meaning that Jin would have to find a way to feed them all, even after his passing, until they somehow find the world fit to re-enter again. But if you remember... the world is in ruins. You'd probably be lucky to find any farms with healthy crops remaining, let alone anything remotely sustaining for a comfortable lifestyle!
I mean, there wasn't any place to buy food so, idk maybe he just wanted to keep them alive for 1 month and then he didn't care about them
@@_.Kasia._ Weren't they in there for about a year? Besides, during the killing game, there didn't seem to be any concern for shortages. Monokuma even reassured them that the food in the kitchen would be restocked every day based on how much the students used.

Kyoko should have stayed dead. she only got resurrected cause the fans wanted that so badly and Kodaka indulged them for it. it's both wrong and very unfair to those who died.
not to mention her death would have supported a theory where the 1st and 2nd trios faced similar situations:
Makoto and Hajime both lose their loved ones
Byakuya and Nagito both went through extreme situations like Byakuya being a hostage in Another Episode along with being buried under a rubble for a while in DR3 while Nagito became a Remnant of Despair and even cut off his own arm.
Kyoko and Chiaki are the MC's loved ones who died.
Well Sayaka already died so she fills that roll and tbh, I don't think Kodaka gives a fuck what fans think if V3 is anything to go by. I'm not even saying that as an insult, I respect that. Fans get so entitled when you cater to them and seem to forget that artists have their own vision for how things should be
As for Kyoko's death, tbh I don't mind. It was done in a way that made sense and even though I just said I respect Kodaka for doing his own thing regardless of what the fans want, I am glad the cast got a happy ending, including Kyoko

Well the Celest thing. We could go with the fact that it is a different type of pressure put on you versus gambling. If you lose a gambling match yeah you lose your money, If you are using real money, but if you lose this you're going to die.
One thing that doesn't make much sense to me in all three games. Is having a shitty attitude towards others. That's just putting a target on your back.
Look at Hiyoko. (Okay she did get killed most because she was at the wrong place at the wrong time.) With her dog shit attitude when I first saw her die not only was I excited but I wasn't surprised. It really isn't a matter of time. And the situation like this you surely don't have to be liked by everyone, however pissing everyone off day in day out is not the smartest thing to do.

How did Kirumi did not get chopped up in pieces when she fell from the rope snatching. They were chainsaws when we saw that when she was coming up the rope. If she was falling down words, you can probably get chopped up or have the Bigger cut that almost breaks the body easily.
Also, for junko Case, I think she can easily just be recording the footage when she needs to do some thing like get food, shower and sleep. She would program the body been discovered when three or two saw the body. the cameras would have sensors. It can tell when how many people in there was and an body.

As far as i know nagito is still suffering from from his lymphobia (idk) etc like anyone would but instead of dying hes living with the symptoms just getting worse. So his good luck is keeping him alive but his bad luck is still keeping the sickness and making it worse
2:04 his life expectancy was actually 6 months 😭 (from beginning of dr3 anime) which means he managed to survive the 6 months he was suspended, 2 years of despair that THH and remnants took place, and whatever time was left after that, might also be the same with nekomaru since he was only given a life expectancy of 20/21 but im not completely sure yet
2:16 i think it was explained that at night Mikan killed ibuki and hiyoko because she busted in by accident, and put wallpaper on so hiyoko wasn’t seen. But I really don’t know how she got to the team that fast 😶

2:10 you misunderstood that case as mikan killed both of them during the night. What she actually did during that time (when Hajime left) is uncover Hiyoko's dead body and glue the door shut from the outside (and bringing the camera)

In the Japanese dub instead of ultimate they are called super high school level basically saying your the best at what you do for a high schooler so it kinda makes sense for why Celeste lost her cool and with the added stress of the killing game where people would act out of character than they would in a peaceful situation instead of a dangerous one
I have never been more conflicted about an ending to a piece of media than I am with DR3.
On one hand even though I could buy her having a plan to cheat death, I really wish they explained how Kyoko came back better and I hated how they ruined Monaca and how Izuru used his hidden Jesus powers to revive class 77, seriously that was cheap as hell.

The entirety of 2-2 doesn’t make sense, if Peko let Fuyuhiko kill Mahiru and convinced everyone she did it, Fuyuhiko could have escaped.

About Haiji (and I know this video is old). The whole "I like them young" line was the localization thing. From what I got his original line is somehing along "I love young women" (emphasis on WOMEN). Aside that, I do not know why the guy is overhated for only one line and not being a dickhead that inderictly made UDG happen. Even I used to hate him for that line alone.

I would say a lot of these things are explainable (Especially the Mikan case because it was literally explained during her trial, Juzo being scared to be outed as gay because let's be honest, aside from the US many places still don't accept homosexuality, Nagito's luck IS the thing keeping him going for so long and etc)
the thing i just can't understand is how the Remnants of Despair got Junko's body parts as if she wasn't fully crushed in DR1. (if we never saw Nagito's hand and it was only initiated, then I would've guessed that Fuyuhiko for example took his own eye out and just put whatever is leftover from her eye aka mush in the hole and cover it with the eye patch (same with Mikan) but we DID see the hand and it was fully intact so that's very weird.

My question is how the hell did a guy who only has his talent be right 20% of the time even get into hopes peak academy, Yasuhiro is barely talented let’s be real.
real life clairvoyants have a very low success rate, much lower then 20 or 30% percent. plus hiro's visions of the future are extremely detailed and when he's right, basically every little detail he saw is true as well. i think a guy who has a 1/3rd chance to have an accurate and extremely detailed vision of the future that surpasses that of all other clairvoyants is pretty talented to me. hiro is stupid but his clairvoyancy is actually pretty impressive when you look into it more

Another thing that doesn’t make sense in V3: One of the hints that Kokichi is one of the good guys and Tsumugi is the mastermind is that, in Scrum Debates, Kokichi always agrees with Shuichi while Tsumugi always opposes him, and the first, second, and third class trials show that Kokichi is smart enough to have figured out most, if not all, of the processes behind each murder during the investigation phase alone. However, as shown at 0:53, in the very first Scrum Debate, where you have to prove that Shuichi’s not the culprit, Kokichi and Tsumugi’s alliances are switched for some reason. It doesn’t make sense because Kokichi no doubt already knows it wasn’t Shuichi and Tsumugi is trying to make sure the students don’t figure out it was her, so agreeing that it wasn’t Shuichi indirectly contributed to her getting exposed in Chapter 6.
Clearly Makoto survived the fall due to his “talent” as the ultimate luck. It’s the only time he’s ever had any luck outside of getting into the school to begin with.
That still makes no sense. He should be dead.

He survived two killing games, and in both he should have died (either by execution or by being brainwashed to commit suicide) but in both he survived due to the luck of someone managing to interrupt his death at the right time, for example, in the execution of Kirigiri the alter ego can't interrupt in time because she wasn't lucky enough for him to arrive in time (or he just didn't care about Kyoko lol). There are certainly people much luckier than this poor guy, for example ANY OTHER PERSON WHO WAS NOT FORCED TO PLAY TWO KILLING GAMES but sometimes luck decides to show up for him

I would call that jammed door as a stroke of luck since it was among the evidence that helped to clear Makoto's name in the first trial. And the other instance of luck he had was when that jerk Juzo got to him just in time before the suicide video made Makoto to kill himself.

2:11 The third chapter of D2 was rushed soo………
A lot of these do make sense but there are some insane plot holes that I really wish should be fixed.
1. Why is Hopes Peak Academy only enlisting Japanese students when it says they scout students worldwide?
2. There is no way Junko alone and the 77th class to be able to destroy the whole world.
What would fix both of these plot holes would be saying that there are Hopes Peak Academy chains around the world that at the same time were corrupted by ultimate despairs like Junko and Mukuro.
3. Chiaki is hinted at being alive by Junko in the last trial of chapter 6, yet we see her die during Danganronpa 3 despair arc.
The only explanation would be if she was actually alive and saved by Izuru, her AI personality matching her real life personality makes no sense either because she supposedly died before meeting Makoto or Alter Ego.
4. Of course the Ultimate Despairs taking in Junkos body parts make no sense either, Nagitos hand and Fuyuhikos eye may make sense but the others have no explanation other than to add extra edge to the characters.
5. Why was Mukuro resisting Junkos plans when the class trial idea was revealed yet we see her absolutely obedient during Danganronpa 3 despair arc.
6. Izuru shouldn't have luck.
7. I could keep going but I'm ruining the series for myself the more I think about all these inconsistencies
To answer your questions:

2. Junko was the one who started and planned for all of this to happen. Legit none of this world ending bs would have happened if not for her. Why else would she keep appearing in roles that relate to the world's destruction? Therefore she should be the main one responsible for all of the tragedy that has happen.

If you watch the anime you will know that this all happened at hope peak and this was a motive for fuyuhiko. Because he finds out his sister was killed by the red hair camera girl friend. So with all of this it wasn’t to show them they all know each other it might be part of it but because monokuma wanted to give fuyuhiko a motive
I actually does make sense that Juzo wouldn't talk. Even today anybody that isn't straight is treated like they aren't humans, so Juzo fearing retribution is even realistic.
But the Society would colapse if he didn't tell about junko. I understand the insecurity, but not the price he pays for it. It's very unreasonable

Can't a lot of this stuff be explained by the ending of V3? That was their characters and this was how they kept the viewers interested. Which is stupid and too meta for my liking, but it's the ending we got, not the one I wanted.... At least my favorite character in V3 lived to the end. I'd hate the whole game otherwise.
I mean V3 is set in an alternate timeline so while it would explain the issues in THAT version. In the main timeline where the Hope's Peak stuff was real, V3 can't explain that

She didn't. He got all of that wrong. She did the murders during the night. They were already both dead by the time the main character woke up in the morning. The only thing Mikan did during those 10 minutes was removing the wallpaper hiding Hiyoko's body and "lock" the door.

Given how fucked up the whole ''Remnants of Despair harvesting Junko's body parts'' part was, I wouldn't be surprised if that actually is the case, even if they never straight up confirmed it. In fact, that part in second game's sixth trial when fake Makoto said that the Remnants even tried to breed descendants of Junko, that SERIOUSLY horrified me for just because it's unclear were they using Junko's corpse or just her uterus for that. It woulda been even more horrifying if it actually worked and there woulda been offspring of such twisted person as Junko.
