I'm looking at getting a C1 or C2 on Black Friday this year, and wondered about what to do about the height issue regarding a sound bar, never thought of a lack shelf, really great idea!
Thanks for the tip on the IKEA shelf. I have a C1 55 as well a 4 year old LG Oled 65. Great tvs. Now off to IKEA. Helpful video. Keep up the good work.
Great Idea with the Ikea shelves, when I got my 65" C1 I bought a 2x10 piece of wood cit it where it was about 5cm longer then the stand. I then spray painted it black and let it dry over 5 days. Works perfect as a stand and raises it about the same 5 cm as the Ikea shelves. Total cost including spray paint was $20 Canadian.
I see that the Window reflection/glare is present. This is my problem when I first bought a80j 77", my living room is surrounded by windows and glass door which makes the image hard to see. So I return it and go what Rting recommended 85" qn85a. What a difference like day and night. Mini LED for day and night TV viewing, while the Oled for night TV only. So please make sure you gonna use it on a controlled room. In my case its a hustle to close and open the drapes, but the glass door has no cover, so ended up abandoning Oled for its nice picture at night.
I recently got the 77 inch C1 as well and was wondering if yours tilts back ever so slightly went on the stand? I saw a couple of other people say it happened on theirs and was wondering if it happen on yours? I installed all the screws correctly on the stand and did it a second time just to make sure.
Yeah I wouldn't buy it again because watching anime or anything without truemotion is hell thx 24fps ( on games is really good but you need right setting and even then if you dont use HDR for many game's like me you will be like why it is so dim and dark ( I have cheap 4K and it wasn't perfect but it was easy to set up no calibration needed and everything look amazing in 1 setting here you must use different settings for everything
I have a 65in B1 that plays all my media files. The C1 does not play all my media files, specifically .AVI, .MKV. The B1 plays all these files, wtf is that? ...
Depends on the weather. If the sun is blasting I generally roll the blinds down, but that’s rarely the case since I’m mostly out when the sun is blasting.. If there is heavy cloud cover it doesn’t bother me too much personally, bright enough for me. But honestly this has been a non issue for me because if I watch something on the LG it’s almost always at the end of the day kind of thing.
Quantums settings literally just make everyone tan whether they are or not. Some people become orange lol. Oh and all your reds become pink, no thanks.

Thank you! The other game was Hades. Pretty fun and you don’t have to commit a lot of time playing it, normally for me a run lasts like 10 minutes at most since I suck pretty hard still lol.

5:45 unfortunately that is false, the C2 BFI implementation is worse and there's added lag for 4:3 mode on the C2.
Do they still release firmware updates for it?

Could you do a video on screen brightness vs glare ? I see that you have a window right next to your tv. I was hoping that you'd mention on that.

Compare your settings to Quantum TV’s. See, which one you like better. Quantum is out of the box. I think his settings are awesome.
