I loved this song from the very first time I heard it, even when I did not know the context of the story. You can feel the sadness and the reconciliation in the chorus.

He was only 17. 69 people were shot and killed, mostly youths which were on a political summer camp🥺❤️ I absolutely love the performance with this song at Nidarosdomen 😍
I love this song, gawd, I say that so much with her music, lol. The performance at Nidarosdomen is stellar, she does a little different added vocalizing at it. Tragic song which the topic touched her personally. Great reaction, Aurora, based on the music I have heard in my lifetime, which of course isn't all the music in the world, I feel like she is up there with David Bowie in being that she is very experimental and ever evolving. Her story telling ability in her music is epic.
It is about Utoya massacre when she lost someone close. I love this song. And it is even better in live versions: Mohagany Session (n the small boat, very raw with only guitar, very emotional) and Nidarosdomen version (full orchestra in very beautiful cathedral). Thx for a reaction :).
I think it would be more accurate to write that she "used to hate" instead of "hates", because she said in interview several years ago that now she didn't hate it anymore.🙂
