I like flying mine. It's simple n maneuverable. Hobby shop here in San Antonio has a killer inventory. I've crossed the propellers from a rage warbird n they work pretty good. It'll fly 3 prop as well

We are literally saying that we think it’s amazing Horizon Hobby kept the price point under $100 titus 😁💯 We also show a pretty real flight here. I’m not sure what else we could do regarding credibility. Could you please explain a bit more? Thanks! ⚓️
I have this plane and it flies much better without the gear on it. I also find in beginner mode I have to give almost full rudder to get decently sized turning radius.But, I still have a good time with it.
I made all the mistakes when I first got into the hobby. Always went the cheap route, started with an edf, ect I made all the mistakes. I actually got out of the hobby from all self enduced bad experiences. The i bought a specktrum and started paying more for the bnf. I just got back into it and being a newbie i can tell you I would crash the hell out of this plane. Pay the extra $ for the UMX. Coming from someone who learned the hard way. As always thanks for the videos guys. I watch all your umx videos 10 times before buying another one.
I think the bigger Carbon Cub is a better beginner plane, I think the bigger planes fly slower than the UMX size. You and Abb should fly a side by side comparison.

Had the same thing happen. After inspection I found the Aileron servo completely dead and unresponsive. After going back and forth with Horizon to try and get the issue resolved, they demanded I send the plane in for inspection, I went to my LHS and told them what had happened and they just swapped it out for a new one and stated they would take care of the warranty issues with Horizon. Horizon's lack of customer service left a slightly bad taste in my mouth...I will definitely think twice about buying another Horizon product in the future.
@Jmac_15 just sent my second back to Horizon for a failed aileron servo....again. First one I swapped at the Hobby Store. What was the turn around time for Horizon Hobby's Service Center to repair/replace the plane and send it back to you? I think it is pretty obvious they have an issue with the first batch having bad aileron servos...hopefully they make it right and fix it moving forward. These are fun little birds to fly!
Small plane, flew ok though looks more difficult to fly vs larger plane. You took the landing gear off to see if stunt button roll worked better. 😮 oops someone forgot the test 😊😊. ⚓️⚓️👍💚🧡💛👍😮😊👍⚓️⚓️.
Those birds are all around where I work and each time I’d go out to my car the parents would do that exact same thing! I have lots of videos of her acting hurt and running away! Absolutely fascinating! Now a real question do I get this plane or one of the warbirds?😂

Love your channel ! kids as a real pilot with these toys , i have all of them cheaper on fuel since 1987 or so these are the best !!! eachine came out first that i saw , then the others, then the rest with there thing . most bang and fun !! they need to make more of what i said !! there is alot of other Warbirds we want just like these fun easy planes to fly !!!! ONE HINT !!!! when i get one the first thing i do is move the ailerons in that little setting to the most THROW!!! closest setting from the SERVO !!!!! it gives you maximum YANK AND BANK .
HobbyZone XCub is a rebranded Volantex Sport Cub and the RCSHOBBY Sport Cub 500. Horizon does the same with their smaller self-righting boats. They are just rebranded Joysway boats. That's why the prices are inexpensive. lol
Hello! I am getting into the hobby, and I wonder if you have any recommendations for transmitters? Because I am told again and again I need a specific receiver for most transmitter, showing that I have to spend as much as a receiver would cost for each and every plane. Is that true? Or is there a transmitter that can bind to the original receiver for most planes,(and how/what kind of planes/brands). Thanks, and sorry for all the questions.
I've been in the hobby for a few years now, and I find the dx series reliable, compatible with dsmx or dsm2 protocol. I use the dx6e for all my planes, and it's simple, but it does the job well. The nx6 Is newer, but it uses a lipo instead of 4 alkaline AA in the dx6e. I prefer alkaline, BECAUSE it's more reliable than a lipo? My reasoning, anyway. If one cell dies, you still have enough power to land your plane. Now, for RECEIVERS: If you use spektrum equipment like the dx or nx series of transmitters, you HAVE to get a compatible dsmx receiver for your large planes. Now, I fly a lot of UMX planes, and these planes come with a receiver in them. You need to provide the batteries and transmitter, but if your newer to the hobby, I suggest research these options and decide: (Volantex warbird series, come ready to fly and will get you flying) (Hobvyzone aeroscout: this comes ready to fly, or plug and play. ((PNP means you have to provide all the electronics)) this plane is large, and you need remote ID to fly it, which is a whole other thing.) Lastly, the UMX ultrix: the UMX ultrix is unique, but it has a stabilization system. you need a compatible dsmx transmitter and batteries, also chargers for all umx planes. Conclusion> If you have one compatible transmitter for all your planes, your good to go. Unless it's a different protocol.
thank you so much! I currently have the micro p-40 warbird, the sport cub, and the FMS supercub(I think FMS). They all have their own transmitters and I am now looking to get the small UMX consendo, which does not come with a transmitter. So would the dx6e bind to the receiver that comes stock with the plane? And before I was looking at the flysky FS-i6X which is clearly cheaper, and comes with differences from the price. But would that work too?
Look up the Radiomaster radios like the TX16s. For planes make sure you get one with a multiprotcol module in it and you can bind to many receivers, even Spektrum BNF planes. A little more work to setup but it's not super hard
@erikaannolson yes! The dx6e will bind good to the umx conscendo, any dsmx protocol receiver: :•) The umx conscendo is the best small plane out there! Its definitely a great choice! It's really stable, too. Fly high!
Hehe, this plane is terrible. It is clearly not good for a beginner and it doesnt have the power or maneuverability for intermediate/advanced. This one looks like a major fail to me.
I just do not understand why they shot the sport cub s’s price up when that is the same plane that has held this spot on horizons lineup for 12 years.. Same design too.

it’s a copied concept of a plane that sells at the same price or less all over the internet. Acting like this is so innovative feels a bit dishonest to me. Also the champ was a blast
Just trying to raise awareness about these little guys. Often people don’t know there could be a nest nearby if the parents are trying to get their attention. Their eggs sadly get run over in gravel parking lots and roads all the time. This one interaction which didn’t hurt the bird in any way but in fact rewarded it for extremely good behavior may have saved thousands of birds in the future ❤️⚓️

It’s pretty amazing they were able to keep these under $100 AND include a spare prop and two flight batteries. Good on them for that one 👍💯😎⚓️
I think it's too get people into the hobby. As they know once your in the hobby you are going too buy a lot more. It's a good thing if ya ask me

I ordered one and during the maiden flight it inverted and cork screwed to the ground. Zero control
