it was on their MySpace page. It was either "Who Could Win a Rabbit" , "Leaf House"' or "Grass" I think. But I"m pretty sure it was a Sung Tongs song because the album had just come out.

The new album CENTIPEDE Hz is out of this world A+ Y% degrees farenhertz cell sea us *1000 gold coins +100 1up mushrooms + 10 tanooki suits + a jar of pickles and giggles mag00gz/7.77 gigawattz per radon cubed (Alien long wave radio grading scale obviously). translates to roughly 13/10 on a human scale, but scholars are still debating the exact translation as the meaning on Mars, Saturn, and neighboring planets really differs from space station to space nation just as language on earth.

For being one of the shyest members, Deakin talks a lot more than Panda does
he played quite a bit of a role on this specific album, and the interview is focused on Centipede Hz.
I have a theory that a lot of the current Time Skiffs record/tour has been about giving Deakin more time to shine. He's front and center on stage, which was even more noticeable with Noah completely in the shadows, unlit behind his drum kit (have to assume this was deliberate).
The Mars Volta were one of my gateway bands.

Cool to see the band talk about their influences and give some sense behind the madness to their music. I've been a fan of the incredible string band and velvet underground for a few years now, but I will have to check out these sun city girls.

It's Thinking Fellers Union Local 282, that's the name of the band.
I had to back up because I thought Avey said he had a Casey Tatum collection. That shit would have blown my mind.
Great vid!!..good album. Like the sampled or electronic version of the band more than the "Band" version..JMHO. Can't wait to see them live. Respect.
