"The Failsafe Fallacy" Lyrics
I can see what hides behind this fallacy
Open your eyes and you’ll be able to see it too
I feel like I don’t belong here
In a world of mindless slaves
Carbon copies of fictitious idols marching to their graves
The innocent become the guilty
Sentenced to a life of misery
Willingly embracing the strength of their chains
Called by a number instead of their names
I know I was meant for something more than to die as a slave in this empty world
A story with no ending is better left untold
I will determine how my life will unfold
I’m not afraid to die
Just afraid to waste it away living a lie
You think that you’re safe behind these walls
The guns aren’t pointed out they’re pointed in
This is a prison
It’s not designed to keep them out
It’s designed to keep you in
I know I was meant for something more than to die as a slave in this empty world
A story with no ending is better left untold
I will determine how my life will unfold
This is a prison
This is a prison
There is no failsafe
This is a prison
There is no failsafe
There is no failsafe
Just a cold embrace of damnation
There is no failsafe
Just a cold embrace of contagion
A cold embrace of contagion
I know I was meant for something more than to die as a slave in this empty world
A story with no ending is better left untold
I will determine how my life will unfold
This is a prison
I’m not afraid to die
Just afraid to waste it away living a lie
You think you’re safe behind these walls
The guns aren’t pointed out, they’re pointed in
This is a prison
It’s not designed to keep them out
It’s designed to keep you in
There is no failsafe
Just the cold embrace of damnation
There is no failsafe
Just a cold embrace of contagion
A cold embrace of contagion

I think Enterprise Earth found their sound. This is fresh, heavy, and unique.
Couldn't agree more!!
True statement 👌
🔥🔥🔥🥵
Man there's so much thrash metal death metal black metal it's like a salad f****** of metal music. Very unique in the composition.
and lost
It’s funny how this is the first thing I wanted to hear this morning with my coffee. I wonder how many 43 yr old women listen to this while shopping at Walmart like I do...
That is Awesome! I wouldn't peg you to even listen to rock! I love finding hidden metal fans.
We're rare 🤌🏻🤣
you are awesome
I am gonna be 44 and love this shit music well first family but music was my family when I didn't have anyone kept me going these guys are the best man
Dan Watson is by far one of the best vocalists.
his highs are beautiful
I definitely do agree. His screaming range really is so powerful and versatile.
This and A Wake in Providence, best bands in the genre thus far!
Am I the only one that doesn't like his vocals?
Not hating on him, because he's so consistent and he has amazing technique and endurance, but to me it sounds so monotone.
brandon moon no disrespect but Dan has arguably the biggest range in the scene. How does it sound monotone
This is top tier deathcore.
*YES YES YES!*
100%
Legit
YES
IMO Luciferous is one of the finest Deathcore albums ever made
I showed this to my friends
Now i dont have any
Who needs friends anyway
its' ok ,you'll meet the right friends someday :'D
Feel you
Didn't need to kill all your friends man...jeez!
Does it count if you never had any?
This is helping me beat my depression. This might get buried in a see of comments.. but if you happen to see this Dan, I appreciate it. We think alike. The world is decaying, we can either freak out or lean into the pain and use it. Suffering is alot more powerful than most people realize. Someone who does not know suffering is little more than a child.
Bro every single time the middle of the song has that slower creepy fucking interlude, which is also used as the end the song, but it goes straight into "i know i was meant for something more" full body chills, hairs standing up all over. This song is a fukkin 10.
@@patriotstreammedia3635couldnt agree more. fucking awesome lyrics, I love this song all the way down to hell LOL
Achievement unlocked: ATMOSPHERE
Golden album, front to back. Literally not a track that misses and the whole record displays a more dynamic side of EE. Jamming on repeat!
2019 is going to be a wonderful year for Deathcore and heavy music:
- Enterprise Earth
- Rings of Saturn
- Shadow of Intent
- Infant Annihilator
- AngelMaker
- Vulvodynia
- Signs of the Swarm (with *_DAVE SIMONICH_* now on vocals 😍)
- Lorna Shore
- Traitors
- Shrine of Malice
- Abominable Putridity(?)
Don't forget Hollow Prophet!
dead dream another good one!
Spite..
New Thy Art is Murder too
Is that a delusions of grandeur profile pic? 👀👀👀
I didn’t think Dan could get any better as a vocalist but it seems like he’s found new vocal styles and he absolutely kills it on this album
Drew Meyer he’s had this ! Just hasn’t added it much too Enterprise Earth til now !
This is the best Deathcore album of 2019.
Scythe Iota let’s not get ahead of ourselves, there’s still the other half of 2019 ;)
*Wait for IA*
What about the valley
@@BidoMaggot The Valley is good, but EE is everything =)
No problem, sir, everybody has his/her own opinion. @NymphOfTartarus, *have a good day :)* .
This is so beautiful.
Thank you EE for making such amazing music.
Joel George nice bb pic
Thanks! I'm 26 and just started my vision, I was able 🗳️and allowed to🗳️
Kirsten Mitchell what
@@user-id2dx4qd6j Thanks. It's thanks to BB that I'm a metal head now.
Joel George me too actually, it’s funny you wouldn’t think of bb getting people into metal. But I know people who are into metal and love breaking Benjamin. They really are a great band.
This is just what I needed at 4am ✨
Im watching at 4:18 in the morning lol
I'm watch at 4:06
4:08 :D
It's 3.57 here🤘😂
And I'm banging my head crazy
If my parents see me this way, they probably gonna think there's a demon or something in me😂
4:09 sir xD
Amazing album from start to finish. Dan killed it, everything else was on point too. Gonna binge listen the f outta this.
word
@@illumibloodp0rne529 to the herd big bird.
This is the first time that i heard something from this band and the first thing that comes to my mind is "WOW"
EE at their best
That chorus... That chorus
This is next level Enterprise Earth. I had chills all the way through. And that breakdown made me smile ear to ear. Incredible!
deathcore really evolved from when i remember it. like a lot
This is absolutely amazing!! This new album is some of your best work so far🤘🤘❤️❤️❤️
Yes it is..well said🤘🤘
The Lyrics are intense & deep & the delivery puts it all on another level.
Dear CZcams, stop messing up with my sub feed.
I almost missed this upload because of your incompetence.
Lit song btw.
J. Cobb same for me I had to search them up.
Lmao... Right on point
same! For example I've missed an entire album by Harms Way that was released a year ago!
J. Cobb why would you miss it? arnt you a fan of them? shouldn’t you be following them? sounds like you’re incompetent lol
This album absolutely kills start to finish. I love how you guys continue to layer those leads and vocals together. It's hypnotic and crushing at the same time
Kip Wright Gabe Mangold is a wizard on the guitar. The best addition EE ever made.
Gabe is an amazing guitarist I’m so glad they picked him up 😍 sad his old band Delusions of Grandeur broke up, but I’m glad to hear his great guitar work living on in a bigger band! He deserves all the recognition that he never got in DoG.
Had to go back and listen to theatrophy last night in the middle of this album lol
J Marsh imo Theatrophy is one of their most overrated tracks (still amazing tho), but the guest vocals are so good I understand the love. If you like that one you should check out their Gravis EP. Super heavy 🤘
Dude ive been listening to them since before omnipotence. Went to high school with their old drummer Devin and he gave me a mixed CD with their pre omnip. And a short e.p.
Thank you for turning up the highs in the mix compared to the last album
This song is very relevant right now
Not gonna lie.
This quickly become one of my favorite deathcore songs.
Best albums of the year, Enterprise earth, and the upcoming albums. Infant annihilator, and Vulvodynia
You forgot Angel Maker and Lorma Shore
For Deathcore? Yeah, I guess. Though, I feel like Lorna Shore with CJ is going to shit all over 90% of modern deathcore. Dude is downright evil.
I feel like AOTY for metal as whole (since Architects isn't releasing anything this year, obviously.) might go to Dayseeker's upcoming album. Rory is doing Rory things.
You need to relearn the English language

@@Ryu_Kage. Angelmaker's good. Lorma Shore is even better.
This is a serious AOTY contender here, fellas. Your new album absolutely kills it.
For sure...the entire album is a banger from start to finish, not a single filler track. Seeing them next month with Lorna Lorna Shore, Within Destruction, and Bodysnatcher...can't fucking wait.
Remmy Riffs same in Rochester
A wake in providence new one crushes anything out now but this is definitely close!
Chris Y I was just about to bring up AWIP’s latest LP. I gotta say both albums are super fucking good and on the same level that I had to put them side by side in a playlist. It all flows really well and it’s like listening to one of those 2-part mega albums by the same artist but not lol

Can’t wait to see y’all in El Paso with Carnifex !!!
This is the best Deathcore song I've honestly ever heard. Chills.
Thank you Enterprise Earth. I can always come to you for masterful quality in your musicianship & apocalyptic vocals from another realm.
Album of the year
The Rhythm changes, pauses, and double bass in this song is flawless.
I remember hearing this band a few years ago and thought how good their songs were.
Guitar player is absolutely nasty, bassist amazing tone and Watson seems to have a voice straight from the abyss.
Calling it now album of the year right here
thisusernamewastaken0 0 you talk some shite. Considering Periphery released their new album and it’s better than this. So, good one.
@@lordmouldybutt2712 never really gave Periphery a listen so there's that
thisusernamewastaken0 0 wait for cattle decapitation
thisusernamewastaken0 0 but this album is rlly fucking good
@@KILLCRYPTIC this is true cattle decap never disappoints if anything this album will atleast make top 5
Can't wait to listen to this shit at the gym tonight😈
@slight o hand what do you mean
oskie641 I took the barbell and smashed all the mirrors in the gym, oops 😬
Dan you’re one of the most talented dudes in the scene you deserve this
I drooled a little... 🤤 so good
"I know I was meant for something more" got damn
They opened with this song last night and sent chills down my spine.
New album is AOTY already!!! Played it on repeat for 7 hours straight today. Amazing!!!!! Love this sound!!!
The solo is amazing 😍
Gabe is an amazing guitarist I’m so glad they picked him up 😍 sad his old band Delusions of Grandeur broke up but I’m glad to hear his great guitar work living on in a bigger band!
Ohhhhh yeaaaahhhh !!!!!
Nothing better than this !!!!
Most epic and startling deathcore vocals I've heard in a long time, and brilliant guitar harmony leads. Melodic, brutal and supremely metal! Well done!
Gabe Mangold on guitar!
Perfecto!
I remember meeting dan on tour a few days before corona hit the world. Guy was drunk of his mind and had a headwound because he was in a fight with someone. Set was still amazing tho
Love to see you guys again one day
Gabe really killed it on this album and Dan is really improving as well
This is by far some of the heaviest/most technical shit out right now! Keep it up Enterprise Earth, you guys are killing it and continuously improve every album! Luciferous 🤘💪🤘💪
not really technical
@@MysteryMeats333 Kind of but it's more melodeath than technical.
This mix makes every instrument so profound \m/
Guys, you just found a freaking awesome new sound and direction with this one. I actually think that you are defining your career with this new album.
"Than to die as a slave in this empty world" HOLY SHIT THOSE HIGHS!!!! Wtf. One of the best screams I've heard
yeah.... best of best
Can't skip any song from this album good job Enterprise Earth
Can we all agree this is perfection?
I must say
Enterprise earth has got they're sound tighter than ever
I felt like the last album it was everywhere for me.
This one is a more direct vision and its fucking badass.
This album was and is a nice run through.
I think they had their perfect sound in patient 0 this one is kinda just meh for me
Thy Art Is .... These guys
This makes me want to saw my legs off with a dull blade. Like in a good way though. Thats how metal it is.
Oh shit, Gun Drummer! ❤
My man! Thank you for showing me this band.
Maybe the best deathcore music video ever
Well hawt dang. Could cook a dozen burgers over this song. Two thumbs, six beers and a fat joint up for this. Prost.
0:39 - 1:19 best part to listen to while lifting really heavy
Holy fuck you guys might have album of the year. I love all 3 songs you've put out, and this one is definitely the best so far. I'm beyond impressed with the growth and maturity of the bands overall sound.
This is the weakest of the 3. It's Pretty bad
@@medicatedbobcat8186 go listen to Chelsea grin and shut up
This is the coolest of the 3
@@medicatedbobcat8186 most definitely not
@John Mays wtf really. No one told me
This album felt as apocalyptic as the cover. EE killing it again 🤘
Reminds of a lil 00's deathcore with a hint of newer deathcore anyone else
Holy fuck, the top of deathcore food chain is gonna be carnage. EE definitely making a statement with Luciferous. *tears of joy*
This reminds me of Eren Yeager.
Life is a prison
Always struggling to achieve freedom and peace
ENTERPRISE EARTH NEVER DISAPPOINTS. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! 🖤
Over 600k views. It’s a beautiful thing
A cold embrace indeed
This may be the song that finally gets me into EE
I promise I will play it on my wedding. Love from Bangladesh.
Just came back to this after listening to the chosen about 15 thousand times. This stuff was so sick too man EE never misses for me
Former vocalist of Infant Annihilator. I'm guessing from their first album "Palpable Leprosy of Pollution," though I think it was "The Elysian Grandeval Galeriarch" that made that band more known. This band is pretty fucking sick and heavy.
Very sexy song dude , just loved !! Congratss for the vocals , really freaking strong
RealPeterParker spider man has a sick music taste
I just want to say I'm so glad I got to meet you guys and thanks for coming staying at our house
really cool especially lyrics
I love this song, I come here everyday
This band has always been so underrated
Iv heard of this band through the years but never listened. This guys vocals have got me hooked. Thanks Gun Drummer!
No lie i normally don't listen to much metal or any sub genre but this song hit me in a different way I wish people would just be more open to other genres and see beyond just the screams and see there's actual meanings behind this
This band just earned a new non metal listening fan!!
woke asf ^
Curious how a non metal listener stumbled across Enterprise Earth.. but nonetheless glad you enjoyed the shit brother haha 😅 They definitely killed it.
@@tyleraskelton10 thanks man I got friends who listen to heavier types of music and they put me on to a few of these types of songs every now and then
@@kevinandrade4359 If you haven't heard of Periphery they're pretty widely recognized in the community and just put out a sick album called Periphery IV: Hail Stan. It's progressive metal so there's plenty of screaming but also some truly angelic vocals on some lighter songs and just technical riffs all around. Not quite as heavy as deathcore haha but Blood Eagle is definitely up there along with some others.
@@tyleraskelton10alright thanks man I'm gonna check it out
BJ is such an underrated guitarist
Brett Wodon not after this masterpiece.
UnhallowedX Gaming his tone on those leads is iconic already
You mean Gabe Mangold? The solos and leads are all totally his style.
Listen to some Delusions of Grandeur and tell me 80% of the guitar parts aren’t Gabe. The acoustic bits and the solos are definitely him. Not sure about all the riffs and chugs though. Could be BJ.
Kevin Benoit I mean i just meant the guitar tone I think. Compare the sound of the leads to stuff from Embodiment and it sounds the same tone wise. BJ must’ve been the one to come up with that shit
Enterprise Earth + At The Gates-esque Melodic Death Metal = AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
strong Shadow of Intent vibes, sick
This is some masterpiece-calibre material 😳
The high screams sound like mitch great stuff guys. Keep rocking
RIP
Gabe Mangold is a wizard on the guitar. He’s the best addition EE ever made.
Kevin Benoit you can say that again!
Fuck yes
just proves that deathcore is the best genre of metal
Glad to see them going more of a melodic route on this album. And the all together flow really is top notch, I found myself getting chills in certain transitions and that is really hard to come by these days. Dan is killing it as always with his range game too. Still the kings of metal...
The best metal I've heard in 2019 !
Fantastic song and a solid album. Totally changed the game with this album. Jamming all the tracks constantly on repeat. You guys totally nailed it. I love you vocals Dan❤🤘
Magnificent.
Gotta say, this a big improvement on their old stuff for me. So many legit riffs and not just a breakdown. Though the breakdown is fucking sick also, love that big bend.
Deathcore album of the year, for sure
God damn this rules
🔥🔥🔥
Faccckkk.. This is heavy
This song is so fucking amazing live.
Been a fan since 2012 glad to see these guys are still going
Красавчики!
Basically this and the rest of the album is fucking epic. Thanks boys. It was worth the wait.
STRAIGHT UP FUCKING BRUTALITY AT IT'S BEST
Just as amazing as all their music. Killed it again
