curious as to why you have a strip of orange tape on your magazines? quick recognition of orientation? purely cosmetic? would love some insight

Just marking which mags are mine at the range when the boys get together.

A shoe over the door rack with plastic pockets works great for unloaded magazines, holsters and other items.

Nice set up yes they are flat head screws but they are sheet metal zip screws so you could have used a quarter inch nut driver but that’s besides the point that it’s a good idea to store things in your safe

Thanks, it's a part of a total solution and would be handy.
A thought for you... I fell asleep, twice, waiting for you to get thru the first 3/5s of the video before you got to the nuts and bolts of the project. If you would consider "abridging" the lead-in information to about 1/3rd the time, it would be much more engaging and effective a video. Thanks.

Thanks for watching, and thanks for the feedback, and I appreciate the positive criticism, most people would have something negative to say. So, I appreciate that.

Most people have gotten into a "please me now or hear me bitch" frame of mind. Anonymity makes for a lack of forethought and understanding, or compassion.
We're here to help each other, or si I thought.
Keep it up. It'll get better.

Sorry, I just saw this comment. I couldn’t agree more. I can’t understand why the “popular” thing now is negativity. People wishing failure on others, most likely because they are envious of that person’s success, but imagine what we could all become if we built each other up instead of tearing down.
Thanks again for your encouragement. It was very well received.

I think he meant, don't use slotted screws. Those peglocks looks like they're designed for flat head screws. He probably means, get phillips head flat head screws. What he used were slotted hex head washer screws. He would've been fine using a hex socket instead.

  • @airos52

bro, use the 1/4 hex bit to drive the screws next time...

  • @Gundoc19

Instead of sanding and spray painting them, you could always take them to your local Cerakote Certified Gunsmith and have them Cerakoted.

Could have shaved 5 minutes off this video by saying beforehand I spray painted black and bought flat head screws but recommend you get Phillips. No need to waste 5 minutes of each viewers time for stuff that can be condensed.
