My snapper pro made me swap tanks like that. I put in a barbed tee that my dad's zmaster had so it would draw fuel from both tanks simultaneously. It only costed like $2
Hey, I’m glad you’re happy with your cheetah but you make you mentioned something about a bolt falling off and I understand where you’re coming from that is a regular with Scagg machines. It is always something small but nonetheless it’s always something. I’ve owned many Scagg machines over the years and I’ve always had some type of problem right out of the box brand new whether they forgot to put a Bolt in, or plug in the hour meter or not grease the front wheels it’s always something with Scagg not to say I would not buy them I think they’re great machines, but after hearing you, and hearing many other people with the same small complaints, I can safely say that the prep before the machine leave the factory and the prep at the dealership leaves a lot to be desired good luck, and by the way, I have the 37 hp vanguard as well, I replace the computer, the oxygen sensor and the wiring harness twice. In the last two years.
I just got a turf tiger 2 last week with the 31hp liquid cooled Kawasaki I went straight from the dealer to my first job the motor didn’t have hardly no oil luckily it had a safety feature to let me know.
@@user-nv3xx7jc5o Yeah, the only Scag dealer's almost an hour away and their service costs are way too high for owner-operators. Won't go Scag for that reason, plus their SW36 belt-drive left a very sour taste in my mouth. My clapped-out Exmark 36 blows it right the fuck out in every department, so I might just fix it up and buy another Snapper or Exmark to replace my 48 walk-behind.
Get yourself some spare spindle bolts and nuts. Grade 5. Grade 8 supposedly can cause deck and spindle damage. I ran over a tarp (looked like I was a foot away, I think it was frayed) and the center bolt got cross threaded beyond function. Also if you take the battery out you can adjust the coil shock itself
Sean Cahoon that is great advice, the grade 5 blade bolt is the weak point by design. In an unforeseen situation it’s definitely cheaper to replace a blade bolt rather than a spindle.
Nice review brother! That is definitely a beast💪. Have heard great things about the Velocity+ Deck and the cut quality👌. Keep it up and enjoy that monster👍😁👍!
I bought a scag cheetah last year just like your mower and I'm very disappointed with it changed 1 spendle with 4hrs on mower and the deck has a terrible vibration. What blades are you using?
Replacing 1 spindle in 4 hours is very unfortunate, but should've been covered under warranty. As far as deck vibration, make sure all 3 blades are very very tight. Use an impact wrench if you can. I had bad deck vibration when I did not tighten the blades down tight enough. I didn't use all my power to tighten the blades, thinking that they would be much easier to loosen when I need to. I learned this was a mistake.
Man gravely is built like a tank but the cut quality in any situation is better than gravely. I would have never quit using gravely if their cut quality was better.
Great stuff! We really appreciate your business and are glad you are enjoying that machine.
Good tip on switching tanks to keep the mower balanced. Good review
Nice mower! I love my velocity decks! 👍🏾👍🏾
Great Mower, Thank you for sharing.
Hey man I just came across this video!! Nice!
Nice review D!
Super awesome bro love it
I have a 2017 cheatah with Kawasaki 27hp with 1400hrs and i love it! I put some zglides on the front and they work great!
Should've bought a Kubota with the front articulating axle.
Kacey is confused.Last comment he was JD7 all the way. What a troll.
I put tweels on the back along with the z glides. Things great on hills

I bought a 31hp cheetah. I'm having a lousy popping noise when I turn it off? Does yours also do that?
I just got a turf tiger 2 last week with the 31hp liquid cooled Kawasaki I went straight from the dealer to my first job the motor didn’t have hardly no oil luckily it had a safety feature to let me know.
That's the problem with Scag. They make a pretty good mower but their dealer (network) is absolute trash.

Nice mower i love mine
If you purchase a air impact changing the blades is very easy and quick from above. !
knocked the it out of the park
Nice mower bro, I’m still riding on that gravely 152… decent mower but seems like those cheetahs and turf tigers 🐅 are in a class of their own.
Yes they are. I have a 152 myself still. Different animals
@@SouthernStyleLawnCare I’m a weekend warrior. Maybe one day I can justify buying one lol. How does the scag handle that south Ms bahaya grass ?
What’s your rear tire psi and favorite baffle setting for the hi lifts?
Users manual calls for 12 psi I’ve got mine at 15psi.
What type of Oil do you use I have one just like it Love it They gave me SAE 30 this time and last time Vanguard 15 50 Synthetic
Mine has a FX921 and Kawasaki 10-40 is what I use and what’s recommended
Hard to beat the scags in Mississippi. I’ve had nothing but great cuts with all the scags I’ve owned.
They cut great but they ain't built like they used to be. Weakest spindles in the industry. JD 7 Iron from now on for me.
Haha weakest Kacey comment.Zero channel action to boot.
How much out door?

Do you have the mower ,if so do you still like it ,any problems ? Thx
Still use it weekly. Love it. No issues 500 hours
do you like the ferris, which one do you prefer, im leaving hustler and looking at ferris or scag
I like the ferris and scag. If your looking for a 61 stander z3 cant be touched. 61 sit down id go scag.
@@SouthernStyleLawnCare you don't like ferris sit down?

It hold the same as a turf tiger fuel wise.
It holds 14gal on the cheetah 1 and 13gal on the cheetah 2. Turf tiger holds 12
I endorse Ferris and Scag as the 2 number 1 zero turn mowers.
Damn thing cuts a lot better then That gravely 152 lol

Only mower they have that has a decent cut is the Mach one.
Can you do a startup of it
Could make that happen
“ It will cut in high range at 16mph” 😂😂😂
It will.. I never run it in high unless transporting for. Low is plenty. No need to cut that fast. Wouldn't be a good cut.
@@SouthernStyleLawnCare I just had to try it.😂 Just for the shits & giggles factor.😂
looks nice. The platform suspension looks comfortable. If you have time would love it if you check my channel out
