She has the looks, the power on her voice, the stamina, the beauty, and a God given talent....
I heard that song too many times but she changed it up a little and easily the best performance of the season🎶🎵
And yet none of the soul of the original, I doubt most modern artists today have the inner darkness necessary to bring out a performance worthy of that song.

Before this I was thinking Abi should sing My Immortal, but this was actually a great song for her. She did it phenomenally (Had my doubts she could hang with Amy) and added something different to her already great performances!

One of my current singers didn't win, Haley Reinhart, and she's done quite well for herself. I'd bet even a master vocalist like Floor Jansen couldn't win one of these type of shows.

Agreed. Her audition, yellow brick road, and this performance were so stellar and leagues beyond everyone else in my opinion. But all her other performances have been kind of meh for me. Song choice is so important. I also think she could easily win if she keeps this up. It's all about consistency.

Unfortunately she has no chance because, as we have learned in past seasons, the American public has no taste in music and, consequently, there is no correlation between talent and winning on American Idol.

@@MoneyGrip70 I know Abi personally and she is very humble and incredibly sweet. We are so proud to see how far she had come and appreciate all of the kind words people share about her. As a teenager she had to work 40 hours a week to help her family eat. She deserves this so much! ❤
This is the only one I’ve watched on repeat like 5 or 6 times. Her voice does Amy’s song so perfectly.

Abi is one of my top 3, and this performance was literally the “showstopper!” I almost shared the look Katy gave while watching Abi sing. The mood was set, and she looked absolutely stunning. So glad she switched it up. The vocal was precise and outstanding, and what a performance!

Wow. This is an iconic song to take on. And she did it proud. Anytime someone performs something that isn’t pop, country, or gospel/r&b on this show, I’m delighted. Feels like it’s been a long time since we’ve hear a female voice that can really take on something with this kind of energy to it.

As a huge Amy Lee fan myself, I was amazed at that performance, I've heard a bunch of covers, that was perfect Abi! A 10! Blew me away!
It has been a long while since a singer on this show has given me goosebumps. Abi has done so twice in three weeks with "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and now "Bring Me To Life". As Katy put it, she has kicked down all four walls of the box everyone thought she was in. She has showcased just how dynamic of an artist she could (and probably will) become. Abi should thank Luke, that song choice may just have propelled her to the top of many people's favorites list if she wasn't already there. Simply epic.
