First time jamming out to this song! Always loved this track! This was recorded with an iPhone only…..the audio is not the greatest, as it’s from the phone. I’m playing on top of the original track and drums here! 😊 The mix on Alex’s drums is much higher for that reason. Shout out to an incredible drummer whom I’ve always loved and admired greatly!!!
I still love it though! I’ve been drumming a few years! Had a lifelong interest in drums!! I’ve never seen anyone hit cymbals like that! Very unique & cool!!👍🏼🤘🏼
I guess Greenwich could learn something from his timing. Setting the clocks right all over the world is no match for Sugarfoot. A fenomenon and a true pro.
Sugarfoot has drummed for Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Elton John, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, George Michael...the list is freaking endless! He would've gone on the This Is It tour with MJ. The GOAT.
So crazy solid and keeping that pocket with no hi hat foot keeping time bouncing or something . Nope left leg is just ... There doing nothing WOW I don't how that internal time clock works without it.
@@mbatter3010 he doesn't _need_ to. He does it to connect with his fans through this platform, and inspire other drummers / musicians. You know, positivity.
@@MichaelM-to4sgHow? Alex did play on drums on Jump and the album, seriously that wasn’t Alex playing Hot for Teacher? I don’t know where you’re getting that from.
I can't do it you're right it's hard. Then again I never spent 100 hrs going over it or I'd learn it. That's what YT drummer's do, they practice for six hrs a day
This dude is a legend. I tried the cymbals behind me thing just to try it on and it went horribly. No idea how Sugarfoot does this. One of the best ever!
When I first heard JUMP I was enchanted. It is still like that today. Introduction on keyboards, drums, bass part, scream and then voice, more precisely singing... Everything. This guy is worthy of VAN HALEN quality. My respect.
The worst Van Halen track with this wack synth sound... catastrophic when you grew up with "Van Halen I" and "Eruption". Felt like being stabbed in the back. That's FM (cheap radio) Rock. I love the unorthodox cymbal arrangement. Thats just amazing the no look attack on those alone makes me wanna cry! He also stays on top of the beat like a boss. Alex would have loved this.👍💪🎶

@@ExploreWithEthanlegit couldn't be more wrong lmao. Have no clue what metal you've heard but the top metal drummers incorporate just as many dynamics plus double bass which adds a whole new level of dynamic and skill, and can play at a much faster tempo. Sorry but the whole "in the pocket, play for the song" thing isn't the only attribute to skilled drumming considering high level metal drummers can do that and much more.
@ExploreWithEthan you're obviously not a musician. How about you shut up and learn proper dynamics of every music genre before you start being a keyboard warrior?
