  • Newly released photo and video evidence detail how former parenting CZcams mom Ruby Franke abused her children. Washington County District Attorney Eric Clarke joins NewsNation's Ashleigh Banfield with an exclusive update on the well-being of Franke's children. "The kids have put on weight. They're interacting, happy and healthy. It's not like they're great, but they're lightyears better and thank heavens for that," Clarke said.

@amandahugenkiss she was married and her husband built that place.
He is a surgeon of some sort and makes lots of $$$ but even that man couldn't bear her, they divorced and she stayed with $$ and the house.

@@tiger.wolf.2033Jodi was divorced long before this house was built and she does have 2 adult children. Her niece, Jessi, mentioned in one of their interviews that Jodi had a falling out with her daughter quite some time ago. She appeared to have a relationship with her son until more recently. Not sure what happened there, if they are still in contact or not. Neither of them have spoken about her publicly.

Jodi’s house is currently selling for $4,995,000.00 and is located at 854 N. Uwan Dr., Ivins, Utah. Nobody decent would buy that house if they knew the horrors that occurred there. The house feels evil.

    • @pennyc11
      @pennyc11 Před 2 měsíci +1

Yes, and some to Jessi too. She suffered too much and gave the children a voice.
She didn't do it out of pride but compassion. No matter how much Jodi tried to ruin her? Jessi found herself and broke through the madness to become a good person.
I just hope the money takes care of the kids and Jessi. Not squandered on anything Ruby wants. She owes more penance than she has years left to live.

Absolutely no doubt in my mind that these kids would have died, either by murder or by starvation/abuse. Think about the claim that Franke and Hildebrandt were going to move to AZ in order to be able to really 'fix' the kids. Any longer we might be trying to 'find' them like J.J. and Tylee buried on Daybell's property. I hope the boy has zero guilty conscience about turning in those two. Afterall, one of them is his own mother. He probably doesn't realize it, but he saved his and his sister's lives. He's a HERO.

In reading Ruby’s deranged journal, the children fought back the best they could during their torturous abuse. Little man had run away once before and as we know, he did it again, successfully, despite the risk of further punishment. Their defiance is their strength. But the pain of being without parents to trust is just the worst feeling in the world. There will be a lot of self-blame with these children. Children believe what their parents tell them about themselves and the world. Words stay with you, while physical wounds heal. And then there’s the religious component…the bringing God into it and I hope the children are not placed into homes following the LDS Church. I hope their needs are being met and I hope they stay together as siblings throughout their lives. I know I’m grateful to have not been an only child. It’s so helpful to have someone who knows what you’ve been through because they lived it right along side you. Some things cannot be understood fully unless you have lived it. Kevin & Ruby Franke were never good at parenting, in my opinion. I hope neither regains custody of the minor children.

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but telling a man you'll threaten that he abused her is powerful in society and can make men do a lot of stuff they wouldn't normally do. And she + jodi are very manipulative, so, I can hope.

Kevin was complicit in their abuse and I don't understand why he hasn't been arrested!! I pray the Parole Board will not go easy on Ruby and Jodi. What they did is inhumane in every respect. The children will be haunted by their treatment and may never trust anyone again. It is all so heartbreaking! 😢 Russel is an absolute hero! The people who sat with the little girl, and the ones who didn't sit with her for all that time, but who saw her and spoke to her...they ALL did something amazing.
The way they all seemed to know how important it was for HER to decide for herself what to do.
I confess, my instinct, if I'd been the female officer, or a male one, would have been to pick her up in my arms and carry out her out. To just get her away from that PLACE..which for them must simply be a torture house. It even looks like a dudgeon really. There is not a thing in that place that is personal, or which indicates anything of joy. No photos, no personal prints or pictures, no books, no music CDs, or DVDs of films, of course no toys or dogs or cats. Just expanses of grey. Grey concrete. Grey fabric. Grey floors. Grey walls.
HIldebrandt said she'd lived there for 6 years.
But that place is a black hole.

Can you imagine the psychological damage (in addition to the absolutely horrific physical abuse of the younger two) she did to all her children? The teen girls were shown to be at Jodi’s house recently before the arrests. What exactly did they do to make the teens not question what was going on with the younger siblings and accept they would be left alone unsupervised enough to drawn attention and neighbors and sister called the police? And the fear of authority the kids -except the sweet boy who escaped had… if you look at the video footage of Ruby getting a traffic ticket the same week she was arrested, the teen girls are in the car with her. You can seen from one of their faces and Ruby’s mannerisms to the police that she had already clearly set the stage for mistrust of the police. I hope that all the children can continue to receive the support they deserve and find peace. They have been utterly failed by a multitude of family members, police, etc.

I have a question, those two other girls, Russell and eves sisters. Why didn’t they report anything to the authorities? They were all living in that house with Jody weren’t they? They seem to be at healthy weights when they showed them on video, so how could they have let their brother and sister go through that and not tell anybody. Did they know if those kids were living in that house or were they living with that other woman who was having them clean her house for guests that were coming which is a joke as far as I’m concerned that women should be in trouble too I can’t remember her name.

I thought the same. Why didn’t J and A tell someone about the abuse of their siblings? They were so indoctrinated that they thought their mom and Jodi I hope they get the help they need. None of this was their fault.were in the right. They were terrified that if they tried to protect their siblings the mom would turn on them. They were probably relieved it wasn’t happening to them. I’m concerned about their long term mental health. They have to live with the fact they didn’t help their siblings when they could have done. They didn’t want to stay with their eldest sister because Shari was living in distortion. These girls were so brainwashed they went along with whatever the mom and Jodi told them.

Considering where they came from...😢It will take a lifetime to manage the pain inside. Just having your father walk out on you. Not a phone call. He never asked the kids what they wanted.
Then a mom who called you demons, starved you, beat you, tortured you.
Yes, there is life after abuse. Let them have loving people. Good friends. Keep them far from the influence of such evil people. Their mother always and until dad wises up? Visitation. Yes, their mother is sick. But worst of all she didn't really love them. Too cruel.
They need good, smart people. Not pretend only right brained people. Caring means showing up and protecting your children from harm.
That dad? Has a huge debt to pay. My dad did pay his dues for not seeing us for almost three years. Do not abandon your kids to abusers.
