I like how dude keeps it simple. Lot of guys make it too technical needlessly
Do you ever rinse? How do you help control run off? What steps do you take to protect vegetation?
My question as well. I’ve thought about using the green ox chemical that claims it doesn’t harm vegetation
I mean there’s literally a thing called gutters…
You spray plants with water before washing the customers roof, and rinse can be optional depending on what chemicals you use, and whether or not it’s supposed to rain
Nah rinsing is a waste of time
@@reubenfedereryeah but I just did a house with leaf hairs and it ran off and burned up some plants. I messaged Spencer but haven’t heard from him. I think I just need a hotter mix
I feel like you could be charging more and might be leaving a bit of money on the table. I built the spencer tank and its been doing great for me, I even do house washes with it! 2% won't do much against lichen but I dont see you deal with lichen really. I do 30-40 cents sq. ft. for roof cleaning. When measuring don't forget the pitch multiplier
I’d love to see a simple truck build soft wash system and how you would build it
There’s a bunch of great videos out there of simple set ups. I like these minimalist set ups myself
@@kennyjwislon1 for sure
See his older videos
Love the background music. Great content as always 👏
How come you don’t rinse after? Does it not damage the roof/house/whatever you are soft washing if the chemicals are left on? Love the vids bro!
I had a question. You probably get asked this a lot. Is this a good year-around business? Since you live in the PNW do you get work during the rainy and winter seasons?
I'm in Eugene, OR... so I guess I really do look up to you. Lol
Little road salt hand crank for your moss powder.
Raise your prices brother!!!!!🙏🏼👊🏼
Where do you buy your sodium hyperchloride? What company?
Do home owner asks if you are licensed and insured if so can you fo a video on that if you font have that. I have been having a hard time getting insurance for roof cleaning.
Laundry detergent has emulsifiers in it that break down the granules on the shingles...... Just saying
How do you know what chemicals are safe to use and rules about water runoff?
What kind of detergent is that and how much of the detergent are you using per gallon of mix?
Where do you get the stuff you used in this video? What’s the dilution
Question, do you wash off the house after you’ve spread it with chemical ?
Hey guys, I’m starting my business in Australia. Just wondering do you rinse off the SH or just leave it? Cheers.
Right on brother. Appreciate your videos and what you do! If you don't mind me asking.....What size hose are you using for spraying the soft wash mixture? I'm using a 1/2 air hose, going to a pressure wash gun (trying to get an adapter to switch it to a garden hose nozzle), power by a 5.5 gpm pump. My flow sucks and it is taking me FOREVER to coat a roof. Your flow is killing it and I believe we are using the exact same pump! A REPLY WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED! THANK YOU!!😎
I've got the 5.5gpm pump too. Air hose is for air compressors... Buy the Zero-G 5/8" 100ft hose and I just use a normal garden sprayer. I even use a motorcycle sized deep cycle battery and it lasts plenty of time.
@@WickedCleanHomes Sounds like a plan! Thank you. I got that hose because I've seen several people use it. It works, but I think the diameter is just too restrictive. I'm getting 3.2gpm out of the gun through 150ft of hose. I'll have to try your setup. Time is money. Appreciated!👍👍
What chemical supplier do you buy from? Is it local?
When doing a generic gutter cleaning, do you recommend rinsing them out with a hose or just leaf blow it out?
Just a leaf blow is fine, you can usually tell when its clogged and need to clean out a downspout
Just use a hose if the costumer really want that or comment about it.
Just the blower is totally fine, but always get the maximum you can with the hand, less mess > easy clean.
you always need clean everything at the floor, because its the first thing they see when they come home and just after that they see the gutters
Are you for hire sir?
hey brotha, I know you're busy, just wanted to let you know I sent you some cool copy via email. Hope you have a good day.
If you put 5 gallons of 12.5% in a 25.75 gallon tank you will have 2.43%!
4 gallons ... 1.94%
6 gallons ... 2.91%
Do you recommend cougar paws? I was on a roof and was slipping with my work boots on
I’ve heard good things
I use cougar paws, you can damn near walk up walls in them, highly recommend.
What song is he using?
Isn't bad to leave the bleach without rinsing it?
Nah it’s fine
does anyone have a contract for the customer to sign just in case the roof leaks or something happens that way we are not liable?
Not a bad idea I suppose but I’ve never had an issue
How many times did you refill your tank?
I use to have the same size tank I would have to refill atleast 2, 3, sometimes 4 times a job. That’s why I switched to a 55 gallon tank. I’ve got a vid about it on my page you should check it out.
