Honestly BR way of playing and passing more on the ground gets me going again.
LEONG Yet Rafa football was so frustrating to watch we would be up one goal and in 70th min or so take of strikers for defensive players and then they would score and we would have no good attackers I remembered this happened so much it was frustrating as hell

That final still hurts. Like Crouchy said, that Milan team where there for the taking. To this day I am still baffled why Benitez didnt play Crouch and Bellamy. His height and the pace of Bellamy would have caused Milan problems. As soon as I seen the team sheet I knew we were fooked. Benitez fooked up that night and lost it. I have hated him since 😡

I love Peter, but I did not expect you to start, and frankly we out played them in that game, they out played us in 2005, but we won 05 and lost 07, I know which one as a fan i preferred us winning and its the epic come back, but we should have won in 07 we were the better team but it evens out but understand why Peter feels miffed though

Acmilan, had to by themselves defeat the english sides, and all there cheating, one by one.
Probably the best champions league season there has been, and it really was a monstrous achievement by acmilan to by themselves defeat all those english teams, who were cheating like mad back then.
Kaka had a great year, best of his life.

Best champions league season by far, a real slog for both teams to get to final, and a great win for acmilan.
I do not agree, acmilan in 2007 took on teams that really challenged them, and they conquered them all.
In 2007 acmilan had worked out how english were cheating, unlike in 2005.

I think champions league player bonuses should be different for each player. I mean when Man United win the champions League in 2008 Ronaldo should be on a higher bonus than Wes Brown at right back. Surprised its the captain who goes in to negotiate. Cant imagine thats how its done now. Would have thought its all done in each players contracts specific to the player.

Looking back, Rafa was a bit of a mug wasn't he.
His managerial career after 2005 was essentially consistently picking the wrong players at the wrong time, usually just to put his foot down and to ensure everyone remembered he was Mr Manager.
His way of football is boring,honestly.
In fact I don't even wants to watch some of the games knowing after we took the lead.
