Love Merv as a panellist . Sometimes contestants are too well rehearsed and it's just impossible to guess , like that second group and the tombs .

I agree the answers to the Egypt questions were great from everyone and so were the panelists' questions.
Love this show. Thanks to the poster! :)

The second group was amazing with their answers, and the panel with their questions also. I'm afraid Kitty sometimes thinks she knows more than she really does, but she's so gracious.

Game #1: I excluded number 2 straight away, cause her name gave away that was either the Belgian (Vlandereen) or the Dutch

20:37 I played that back about five times and laughed each time: "The Azalea." She sounded drunk.

Would someone kindly translate airline stewardess #3's answers to Peggy Cass? I couldn't understand her. And I always thought the Temple of Carnac was located at NBC Studios during Johnny Carson's reign!😉

So sad...They were stewardesses when I was little.
Now people are rude to them.

I remember when USA Today founder Al Neuharth (1924-2013) caused a stir by suggesting that airlines should make the skies a bit friendlier by bringing back "Sky Girls", a term that he and others of his age sometimes used when referring to stewardesses/flight attendants. By "Sky Girls" he meant young, shapely single women--usually under the age of 25. TTTT obviously recruited such females to serve as imposters. TTTT Staff must have had some connection to Pan American Airways because so many young, gorgeous female TTTT imposters were employed by that airline company.

Airline hostesses in 1963 were still required to be single and under the age of 35. It changed sometime in the 1960s and getting married became allowed. I don't know when the rule about under 35 changed.

A better way of awarding prizes would have been for EACH contestant to get $100 for one wrong answer, $200 each for two wrong answers, $300 each for three wrong answers, and $400 each for four wrong answers. I'm sure Goodson-Todman were wealthy enough to cough up a few extra hundred dollars.

Wow! The president of the Flower Society (whatever) ... these women sure don't know much for being a president. Reminds me of the USA pres d j trump. Being from another part of the country is a poor excuse for not knowing where a flower show is held. How'd she get the job?
