I had no problems with this Mora. Paid 65 euros. Sheath not perfect no. But in okey condition. Bought a Bark River Bravo 1 for 209 dollars and sheath broke after 1 week in the forest. That thing locking the knife buy buy. I was unlucky one day and the handle cracked on my Bravo 1. I was very dissapointed. Never happend to my Moras. Working construction for many years abusing the Moras about 100 times stronger than the Bravo 1. I remember once batoning with my Bravo 1 and could not split a log. And then I tried the Mora hitting so hard the baton braking. But Mora did not brake and no edge problems. Hitting harder than i did with the Bravo 1
I own this knife...bought a kydex sheath for it.skins and quartes a buck quite nice..loves how easy to sharpen this knife is..cuts better than my KaBars

Just bought on Amazon for 77. I love it and I have most of the Mora Knives. I was skeptical with the sheath not being Kydex but I like it. I'll just modify the sheath but the knife is perfect for anything I would need.
the log u batoned any mora knife would do and i think there is no need to baton any thicker logs, that means this knife is absolutely fine. In a video where this knife snapped the log was just ridiculous, any knife would struggle there.
The price swing on this knife might be due to supply & demand. As for the Mora brand, I like Mora knives & I tend to stick to the Stainless blades. I have Moras in each of my packs. I only spent $15 on each knife not to include the pathfinder. The more affordable Moras are great for light duty work.
Secondary bevel eliminates naming it "Scandi" as defined by BritishBlades.com, a matter of indifference to Nordic makers who make Scandis because people want them and will pay for an inferior all-round tool.
Humble yourself young Jedi. I snapped a Cold Steel stainless ATC 3" from the grip batoning in the cold. This Mora out did a CS Kukri. It's the quality of the steel, not your attitude.
+Augustus McRae Exactly, in my opinion if this knife breaks it's going to be when your batoning. If people decide to baton with this knife they need to understand the very real risk of breaking this knife.
+John Harris I have looked everywhere and I can't find a discontinued notification for the pathfinder. It is still listed as a production item according to Moraknive so as of now I can't confirm that the knife was discontinued. I know that the other mora #333 was discontinued about a year ago. Could you please provide a link to the discontinuation notice.

Great knife . Totally agree with your wife . Long and light . It looks she should`ve done this review . Liked the vid b/c of her opinion :)
Lol some times I really should listen to her :p but I did do an update video not to long ago on the pathfinder!

It's been a year. Does the knife live? Any updates? I always thought the Pathfinder was a bit goofy.
+Tramp Trade yep :) look up mora pathfinder 1 year update on CZcams. It should be near the top :)
Cool, thanks!

I’ve bought it...not $65 either...mine cost me $152.70¢. I would’ve been pretty happy getting it for $65.👍🏼
Can you give me one this. 😊 Im from the Philippines and its really hard to find this kind of knives. 😊
totally agree with your assessment. i've seen this knife break while batonning in another video.

$180 here in NZ!!!!
Great video and review man! I wouldn't pay that much for that knife either...maybe with a better sheath or if it was full tang
+Joseph Pettus exactly, if it was kydex or full tang I would have no problem with the price. But a cheap sheath and partial tang.... no
Where can we buy this at best price?
Amazon would be your best bet :) I have an amazon affiliate link in the description
