Brilliant "how to" guide. Thank you so much, I was able to change the spark plugs successfully, thanks to this.
We don’t have the 3 cylinder in Australia , I have just bought the same car with the CVT and 1.5l 4 cylinder MIVEC it’s a very economical car and feels solid . But I’m always getting used to the feel of the CVT hopefully it proves to be a robust part of the vehicle. 😅
muchas gracias ,
Thanks
quite like these, ultimate cheap daily
You really over tightened the plugs!
Nice bud, what camera are you using btw? Looks like you got a little help filming this time round :D Just did my clutch master cylinder on my Fn2 this weekend, what a pain in the ass. I'll probably upload it to CZcams at some point, i was trying to fix the annoying clutch pedal squeak.
I just filmed this on my phone mate, my Samsung S8 was on it's last legs so just got a Xiaomi Mi pro 9 and the camera is crazy good on it for the amount it cost.
Plus i only have to charge it every 2 days which is a god send compared to the 2-3 times a day i was charging my Samsung lol!!
Did the master cylinder fix it? I had a squeaky pedal in my FN2 as well but i never got around to sorting it, the exhaust kind of drowned it out most of the time anyway.
@@LeadFootash23 You'll have to watch to find out :P Nah i'm kidding. To be honest, i'm not 100% sure it was the master cylinder that caused it... loads of people say that's what it is and spray loads of white grease/or lithium grease up on the cylinder shaft which masks the problem. To get the cylinder out i decided to pull the whole pedal box out and noticed that where the spring hinges for the pedal return theres like a little white (maybe Nylon) bushing. One of mine was missing so the spring had metal on metal contact with the pedal box and there was a big witness mark on the pedal box. My mate has an Fn2 on 100K+ and has never had a problem, mines only done 50K so i wouldn't expect a cylinder to fail at 50K. You can't buy these bushings that i'm aware of, so i made one, well 2 actually cuz the other one failed when i took the spring off. Just saved you a 30 min video (if i post it) :D
I changed the cylinder anyway since it was off and the clutch pedal feels so light and smooth now...and NO SQUEAK
What is the cause of the sound that is produced during the start of the car in 7:28 ??
Thanks in advance!
It's the relays powering up
Would be useful to know the spark plug number....!
Looks like a tidy motor that. 👍 I always forget about them for some reason, just seem to remember the C1, 107, Aygo which are just the same car basically but this one always eludes me. A great a how too video once again for anyone who wants to give it a go themselves. 😊👍
We looked at the Aygo first, they're great little Cars but they're 3 times the price and half the size.
We hadn't really thought of one of these but it popped up nearby so we went and had a look and turned out to be an absolute bargain!!
@@LeadFootash23 Nice one buddy. Always great when it works out like that, wonder why they're always forgotten?
