This video is probably one of the best out there. I have been trying to learn how to use a pencil for the 14 years of my life and this right here completed my mission to finally learn how to hold and properly use a device called a pencil.
Pencil - an instrument for writing or drawing, consisting of a thin stick of graphite or a similar substance enclosed in a long thin piece of wood or fixed in a cylindrical case.

You forgot to mention good contrast in your illustrations! This is especially important when using colour!
