Edge's opening guitar cords are simply legendary, and when Adam comes in with the bass, it just makes the hair stand on the back of your neck. I never get tired of listening to the many amazing renditions of this song.
I love this. You can hear the "cry" in his voice and the different tones in bonos voice is from the heart. The edges guitar is breathtaking ... The energy is amazing. 😊💙
The Irish lads who continue to show us the beauty and power of band mates trumping the lure of success, fame, and self exaltation. The power of Ireland, from my experience which took place six months before moving to Nashville (in the late 90s), was the hospitality! People’s care actually overshadowed contracts and other individuality. I hope that trait still remains. And if you are Irish, please do not lose that gift; the world needs you to maintain that skill!
how blessed you are to have been able to attend u2 s concerts....💙😊 never could attend due to physical conditions. a dream /wish to attend couldn't be granted. so grateful for the new t-shirt of their 46 years together was a gift I was able to buy and wear with pride🌈
I was at this show. By far the best show I have ever attended in my entire life. Nothing in the world can top it. This was my favorite moment of the evening too. :)
Best concert I have ever seen in person! Followed closely by U2 (2005) In Atlanta, distantly by Paul McCartney in Nashville (2010), and Coldplay in Dallas (2012).
MartinKlitgaard -It's an old trick they mastered for their second-to-none live performances they've honed with skill and excellence over the years. Bono is an expert at including little snippets of their other songs and cover versions before the main song they're performing, during, or after, its's exciting, improvised, and powerful.
+maximuscaligula 100% agree with you! in this song, it is amazing how Larry play those drums, it comes on waves rolling over us. I like the whole of it... all four. U2 is the only band that i have followed since i really started to listen to music in my teenage.
Actually, IMHO the best rendition of U2 doing a medley /snippet of Amazing Grace was their concert from Dortmund, West Germany during the Unforgettable Fire Tour in 1984 when they combined it with Electric Co.. Check it out on CZcams, what Bono did with it and how he interacted with the live audience, so awesome it cannot be described
I got some news.......all my life I believe amazing grace is God's holy spirit ...plain English L❤️VE and kindness in all ways. All these versions of the Bible, there are many......never use the WORD grace. Amazing.........isn't it. g 💌

Hands down my favorite U2 song. The 9/11 memorial, half time at the Super Bowl was and still is epic.
Best halftime show ever.
There a few who can truly give this Song justice. It requires Soul. And Rock N Roll talent, charisma and stage command.
