This was filmed from Angels & Airwaves’ last show on their 2019 tour at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, CA on Wed, Oct 9, 2019. My wife and I flew all the way from New Orleans where I’m stationed just to watch this. The experience at this show was unreal and I’m proud to be an AVA fan. Tom is incredibly talented. Love him! And AVA is incredible. Just discovered AVA this year. I was big Blink 182 fan in my college years in late 1990s. Their videos reminded me of my teenage years. Now that I'm older AVA is just perfect.

Coming from Australia to watch these shows, ending with this one, makes me so grateful I was able to travel and see them playing at home. I can't wait to be able to travel again.
I am here like this enjoying my present only because tom and blink 182 taught me to. They were my heroes and ispent all of my childhood watching them and singing their songs. They are still my heroes.

I’ve always had a problem with the hate Tom gets just for pursuing the truth from a soul level, and thankfully this video makes me believe that none of that hate matters when he continues on that path and somehow makes fun of the hate he gets. It brought a tear to my eye with how honest he is with the audience, and how he persists through the ridiculous hate he has gotten from going his own way and not the way of the childish punkish mentality Mark was trying to guilt trip him for that same reason he resented and misunderstood Tom’s reasons for leaving Blink. And, here we are now with Mark trying to make Blink still relevant with an irrelevant guitarist that is basically Blink without the soul, that Tom was obviously the core of it all.

His voice sounds 10x better lately. Wonder if he was smoking prior? Or maybe he just found his passion again. Whatever it is, he sounds great live. A huge contrast to Blink live right now. Skiba for instance, sounds legit atrocious. Like he’s on drugs or something. Can barely hit a note.

Natalie Reinke to be clear I actually like Skiba on the new album. But live? It’s legit bad. Not even exaggerating.
I saw a recent performance where he was slurring his words and barely getting through the track. The difference was insane.
Which is why I wondering if he was on drugs or something. I looked at other concert videos from the past year and he pretty much sounds bad on all of them.
It’s sad because I think Mark has actually taken steps to improve live and Travis is always a beast. But skiba just sounds like he’s barely hanging in there.
Which is why I was shocked Tom sounded so good. Because he wasn’t sounding so hot a couple years back. But I’ve seen other clips of his recent tour and it’s insane how much better he sounds.
