He said the stuntmen from Matrix were the directors on John Wick. That’s pretty impressive.
I found out recently that one of them who directed John Wick 2 and 3 was Brandon Lee’s stunt double in The Crow in early 90s when he was killed during filming

Keanu Reeves seems like this shy person who would really rather not be in front of a camera having to answer questions, but he does it for his fans. He also seems like sort of a goofy person who just happens to also be unbelievably cool. I mean no real goofball would be out racing powerful bikes the way Keanu does, amirite?! But at the same time, he acts so goofy when being interviewed sometimes. Man, I love Keanu! Every thing about him is out-of-this-world awesome. Apparently Keanu's mother's family was _very_ cruel to her, so I don't blame him for wanting to cut them out.
Plus, can you imagine what he'd be getting himself into?
He's a notoriously private person that wants peace and quiet, likes to ride the underground and doesn't care for the celebrity lifestyle.
Reconnecting with family after such drama would most definitely result in gossip, paparazzi and the like on a daily basis.
There was another interview he was on where they brought up his family. I think it was a British one as well.. Everytime he's in the UK, they tend to bring up his mother or relatives. Which if they did any research they'd know he wasn't on good terms with his father and the relatives on both sides. It makes for awkward viewing but since Keanu is so lovely he manages to be polite about it. I just wish they'd stop bringing up his family.
That must be why she ran away...that sucks but hey..any little change in history would altar the universe and maybe we wouldnt have keanu..or hed be an orange grove farmer named Stanley Reeves..and we all know Stanley is the male version on a Karen lol...but yall know what i mean...sorry she was treated so bad she had to resort to running away but look now...shes must be one proud mama

Usually he is so reserved but he genuinely seems like he’s having a good time here. I noticed that with a lot of American celebs on UK Shows, they actually express themselves without the need to process their answers all the time an seem to enjoy themselves.
I just love the way Keanu talks about his role. The scene of the dog was important, the whole fact was that it was emotional. It was a great movie and I've seen the other John Wick films and I'm waiting for the fourth. I write action stories so I am an avid fan of Keanu and appreciate him so very much. Thank you! I remember seeing interviews with Keanu back in the day where he appeared to be really uncomfortable, so it’s lovely seeing this charming, gregarious chap emerge. He seems so down-to-earth and affable. And Christ he’s hot.
The two _Bill & Ted_ films are favourites from my youth so I’m not sure how I feel about a potential revisit...but if done well it could be amazing. I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see...

Okay, so I think my favorite part of this non-stop awesome, perfect interview is the discussion of the morning walk, because Keanu just does this sound effect that is... exactly spot-on: that IS the walk, that is exactly what happens when you roll out of the damn bed and take your first step into the day. I laughed SO hard. Then I winced.

@@pooja2549 I'm female and, while I am not yet 50 (got a little under 20 years to go), I can confirm that this is not limited to females. It's a "your body gets older and joints aren't as 'well-oiled' as they used to be" thing. When I wake up in the morning, if it's not the John Wayne walk to the bathroom, it's the Michael Keaton as Batman full-body turn to the side because my back/neck doesn't want to rotate the way it's supposed to.

Of all the movie star mega-celebrities in Hollywood, Keanu Reeves seems like he actually is a decent human being in real life and if you were to ever chance meet him, he'd be kind and graceful, and even if he were busy would take time for a fan. It's very likely that his being raised in Canada has a lot to do with that, because Ryan Reynolds, who's from Canada, while being probably one of the most sarcastic actors, also seems like a decent human being at heart and will take time for a fan. Maybe I'm wrong but it does seem that way to me. And I'm eagerly anticipating Bill and Ted 3 as well as John Wick 4

I wonder if there is some kind of issue in America about advertising. It's as if the show cut this out for some reason. It would have been shown in the UK, but maybe talk shows aren't allowed product placement when it's broadcast in the US?

Thank God for the third Bill and Ted Face the Music.My wife of twenty two years finally went to a theater film all because Keanu was gracious to team up with Alex to make the third movie,as promised.What a good Soul Keanu has ,Im sure his Father would be proud.I sure am.58 yrs old and would be more than proud to have a son as wonderful and intelligent as he.
