I’m glad none of the members make fun of him. Honestly I don’t like people who tease others for not speaking good at a certain language, like mocking accents or say things they’d know he wouldn’t understand to make him feel left out, or pretending he’s hard to understand.

With seventeen, they were pretty up front about any awkward relationships like in 17 project, wonwoo admitted that he and Jeonghan weren't very close (at the time) and I really appreciated the honesty. Yeah I was an exo-l too and even before Kris left I felt there was something off about their bond as a group. And when Kris left it put me off K-pop as a whole because I thought that all the relationships we see in the "reality shows" were all scripted and fake. Seventeen is the first group I've stanned since Kris left and I was really touched by their genuine care and respect for each other... that's what turned me into a carat...their teamwork and strong bond.
I'm super late to this but I feel like that's the difference between SM (and/or the big three) and smaller companies. With Seventeen Pledis right off the bat gave them more freedom to be who they are. There's a lot of honesty with Seventeen. Same goes for BigHit. They gave them the freedom to be honest about their thoughts and feelings and Seventeen and BTS have a really tight bond within their respective groups.

i'm very proud that he evolved so much and is now confident in his korean skills. learning a second language, espacially one with a completely different alphabet and pronunciation is very hard and yet his korean improved a lot very quickly. i also appreciate how the other members (espacially jeonghan and jun) helped him with it. like they all genuinely seem to care about each other and i love that about seventeen
