FYI, there is going to be a part in this video where Robert Downey Jr. checks his Arc Reactor and keeps going forward from there. This is definitely beyond my storm trooper training, and into a jedi like territory. Awesome dude.

I’ve been having the same problems, would you mind telling me where you got the parts? I tried to find them, but was unsuccessful. Thank you

Im having the same problem with my blower as well Makita XBU03Z 18V LXT. Does anyone know if the contol module or speed control has been updated by makita, or is it just hopes that you may get a better part this time?

At one point, you put on rubber gloves. Is that when you were replacing the flux capacitor and didn't want to get zapped by 1.21 gigawatts?

i'm having similar trouble with a dub182. i use it with a 1.5ah battery. when it refuses to work i put a 5ah battery then it works. then it will work with the 1.5ah battery for a while. i suspect dust in the switch to be the most likely reasopn. the brushes are the next possibility.

Mine did too. I sent it in for repair. They replaced the module and after I got it back it ran for 10 min and quit again.

It’s total junk! Mine died after shocking me. I think the speed controller is garbage?

How did you determine that the harness was at fault? was it in the PCB?

Mine did the same thing , I didn’t have the recite but the date stamp is located on the blower so makita cover it under their 3 year warranty service . I call Mikita and they gave me a shipping label and fix it… it was the control module also … their warranty department is great … fast , fixing and repair .. call them and get it fix
