MLS TOUR 22: VLOG #17 PORTLAND TIMBERS VS NASHVILLE SC @ PROVIDENCE PARK

The 2nd stop on the week long trip to the Cascades was the city of Portland, or as they call it, Soccer City baby! I feel like it's been a while since I last step foot in a ⚽️ based stadium. Providence Park was definitely the best way to return to one! I stayed about 20 mins away in the city of Tigard, which was definitely an improvement compared to that of the 3 hr drive to Seattle last time around. I honestly spent a lot of time shopping (had to take advantage of the no sales tax) and grubbing out at the many food carts Portland has to offer. Finally wrapped up the night at I must say 1, if not the best atmospheres the MLS has to offer!
The match between hosts, Portland Timbers and Nashville SC over at Providence Park was insane! From start to finish, the match had it all! VAR decisions, penalties, plenty of saves, and goals! Matter of fact if it weren't for the great gk performances on both ends, the game would have finished with more goals. To top it off the chaotic behavior and catchy chants (When I root, I root for the Timbers!) of the passionate home fans made everything 10x better! The game was very combatted throughout all 90 minutes, but ultimately the match finished on level terms. And even though I was unlucky in my hunt for a Pin & Guinness, I had an amazing time at the Providence Park. I would gladly visit again!
Huge thanks to Jerm and Nynna for hosting Jayda and I in their lovely home, showing us around town, hooking us up with their discounts, and taking us to the Providence Park, giving us a true fan experience! Appreciate and love you all. Will definitely have to visit again!
