That crowd was still 99% capacity a half hour after the game ended. What an event. Epic.
To get out of that Arena is awful. You can spend 2 hours in your car waiting or stay in the Arena
The tickets were so expensive everyone was trying to get the most out of it
dud there was a huge spot in the stands.. that was empty the hole game on 2nd lvl
Is normal by us when we come together 10k+ people
We are all diffrent but in the heart have we one voice
And thanks for this Event in my country
@@TheCanadiens33 Been to multiple big sold out Games in that Stadium, and I never had any problems getting out. Good connections to the local train and Metro System, and it's directly situated on the Autobahn. Never took my 2 hours by car to get out.
If you havent seen the crowd singing Country Roads your missing out. Brought a tear to my eye
Ajax singing three little birds is amazing too
Looked it up because of this comment.... that was pretty damn cool
They probably learned it from the Fallout 76 trailer
@@B___848 Nah, it's one of the songs that people always sing in beer tents, on Oktoberfest and other local festivals.
So, so Europe lol. Right into Zombie Nation
That crowd was better than some Superbowls let alone regular games, they should absolutely give Germany more games. Best fans outside the USA by far. Give em a Superbowl and we'll get a champions league
As awesome as it would be for the UEFA champions league to come to America, that will unfortunately never happen, at least in our near future
@@matthewpeterson9209 My friend money talks and UEFA still has to look over their shoulder with the whole Super League idea still floating around.
European fans are crazy, WAY better than American. Its not even close bro. Go watch the video comparing NBA fans to Euroleague basketball fans.
Europeans regularly have gang fights after games. I love my teams, but I’m not having battle royale’s in the street over it.
And at least half were transplanted Americans and American military personnel so we can all calm down. And there is zero way to schedule a SuperBowl for a time of day in Europe that works for its overwhelmingly largest audience in the US. And yes I know that the game has a world wide audience that continues to grow.
@@miguelarias5193 Yes and all the money is in TV times that work for Europeans. You can grow the American audience by a tick or two and devalue the broadcast rights deals in the short term and piss a lot of people off. Arguing that growing an American TV audience just doesnt work because no US team, no audience outside the die hards you already have.
I was in the stadium Sunday. This was the experience of a lifetime. This was a Dream of all people in the attendance and you felt it every minute. Thank you to everybody who made this possible. And Pat, Germany loves football, this has nothing to do with military. We Love this, Trust me, half of every London Game is filled with Germans. Thank you for your show and Talking nice about Germany. ❤
Being an American of Swiss-German descent, I loved every minute of watching that game. I hope my Buccaneers play a game there again soon!
He is right! On gameweekend you can hear people talking german at any famous bar in london! Was there twice... greetz from germany
Bitte schön, your welcome to come again with more games 😉
Exactly, we love football. Every sunday evening it is NFL time at our family and my boss knows why i am always tired on Monday mornings 🤣🤣🤣 And what luck we have to watch some College Football on saturday, too 🥳
They don't have to talk nice, it's on video. You Germans play rugby or something similar?
It‘s no surprise that the atmosphere was that good, 50+% of all London games visitors have been from Germany for the past years 🔥
You’d get a much better atmosphere in the UK if the games were anywhere but London .
@@adamwilliams2874 The NFL has zero fanbase in the UK, that's the reality. It's like putting a premier league game on in california or something, makes no sense.

@@darienford860 shutup racist
@@darienford860 no better than American fans. It’s just that when people get into a sport here they get really passionate about it. I have been to NFL games since I’m American myself but there’s nothing like European football ⚽️ fans
A good game might get American fans that loud and active but congrats to Germany for showing up. The crowd noise was leaping from the television from the opening kickoff without letting down
Kudos to thier fans....but I know the flock shows up in bmore and M and T bank
As a Bucs fan who lost a home game for this game, I couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out. As a vet who was overseas, I was lucky to catch some of the pro bowls and now look back and realize I didn’t even know how lucky I was at the time. Those fans showed us what pride really looks like. We used to have this kind of pride at games black in the day.
I hear that a lot
Is it true that the spirit for ur team isnt the same as before and it has become too commercialised?
What kind of narrative is that?! You did NOT LOSE a home game... like WTF?!?!
All the administration work for years to exceed the schedule for a 17th game happened for International Series. Well communicated over past years. Ultimately aimed for full 16 International Games over the next years. Australia, China Brazil, France, Spain running up.... the Marketing Rights for these Countries have already been granted to selected applying Teams!
If it wasn't for the global claim you'd still have 16 games and not missing out ANYthing! No you are gaining smth as well on top!
Football has become such a huge sport in Germany, I'm glad the NFL is finally starting to recognize that
It really has not become a huge sport in Germany. 90% of Germans could not name a player besides Brady and do not even know that there is an American Football league in Germany. However, there is a small and passionate fanbase. If you factor in all the surrounding countries, the US military personnel and the "event fans", there will never be a problem to sell out stadiums.
@@dagda3000 okay? I bet 70% of the United states couldn’t even name a player besides Brady, doesn’t mean the fan base isn’t huge, even 10% of the US is 30 million so a small percentage of Germany is big too lol

I have German friends from when I lived abroad, and they accompanied me as I watched football and it really became lessons in how to watch the game. They were very enthusiastic about the sport, more so than my friends from other countries!
I’m stationed in Germany and I tried to buy tickets the day they went on sale….instantly sold out lol wanted to show up with my JJ jersey to rep my Vikings but apparently it was close to 3 mil ticket requests. Insane but happy for my fellow army dudes who did get tickets
I tried to get tickets on the website as soon as they were on sale. And I mean in the exact minute. And I was number 720.000 in the waiting queue. Lol……
I was number 2,879,005 as a Vikings fan as well. Skol Vikings
As someone who was there, let me tell you it felt special
Also as a Seahawk and decidedly non- Ton Brady fan, it still felt right somehow, singing country roads during the game clinching play
What a way to finish a special day
You guys did Seattle proud and then some with how you guys showed out. Like, you guys are the talk of our town, and will be for a while probably
@@DrJellyFanguzzz Seahawks have one of the bigger fanbases in Germany, since the current boom started in the year the Seahawks won the Superbowl, and many stayed with them. Seahawks were the perfect team for the first German game

Dad was stationed in Germany 89-93. We watched the first ever NFL Europe game in Frankfurt. It wasn’t the pros but that stadium was electric
As a german, me and my friends really fell in love with the NFL because its a entire ceremony. Also the kick off times are great. You can watch real (hehe) football from 15:00 to 19:00 and then go american football.
Also the german TV coverage is actually really really good. They have a great team which makes the pauses super entertaining.

About the gras: The weather in southern Germany was extremly foggy and humind the days before the munich game. But also the ground for soccer is a lot softer a more wet since the players are not as heavy don't move as much on the same spot plus the ball bounces better on wet ground.
Honestly that game looked so fun to be at even if it's not your teams playing. I was so jealous
Why is everyone surprised that there is a great atmosphere in a German soccer stadium? 😂 We have at least ten stadiums the nfl could go to with awesome atmosphere like that.
@SGTKIRKLAND exactly! When I was allocated by the Tennessee Titans to play for Frankfort Galaxy over there in the last year of NFL Europa in 2007, the fans turned out. We packed the stadium, whistles blowing, and way louder than any NFL stadium at that time frame. Ole Roger canned that league because I’m sure it wasn’t his idea. Those Germans have been waiting since then to get it back over there.
Shout out to all the guys on the 2007 Galaxy team. Memories made that we will keep a lifetime!
It was surprise that you showed out so hard for a very uniquely American sport, and sang a uniquely American song at the top of your lungs.
Thank you. Love you guys.
I’m not gonna lie I haven’t really been a fan of the London games but that Germany one was insane energy. They loved it. I’m cool with giving them at least 1 game per season and make it a meaningful game.
Thanks for the many compliments for Germany as well as for the German football fans. I hope you enjoyed the event. I saw it in front of the TV and got goosebumps. After the game as the crowd just kept celebrating and singing "Country Roads" it brought tears to my eyes, I was just proud and happy. Greetings from Germany to you
Thank you Pat! To get the chance to see the game live in the arena (the were 3million ticket requests), it was an amazing experience an a dream come true! But to see how you guys loved the atmosphere make me even more proud an honored! Thank you for the love! Glad we could share our while and after the game! Goosebums everywhere! As a german: DANKESCHÖN!
8+ years ago I spent some time in Germany rocking my 9ers hoodie and I was surprised at how many people recognized it and started up a conversation about their favorite team. It was phenomenal.
I'm from Spain and I flew to Germany just to watch Tampa Tom!
What I like about games outside the states is that the hyped crowd noise is constant, because you'll have fans of both teams, some of neither, but fans of the game as evident from the variety of team jersey's in the crowd. It really helps make it a true neutral site game.
It was pretty cool to see an entire stadium singing country road in Germany. I definately did not expect that. Germany put on a great show!!
The atmosphere in that game was absolutely electric! I was surprised at just how loud that crowd was. Awesome stuff!
Other then having enthusiastic fans, the way our stadiums are built is different too. Like in the US the sound is better in a dome then it is in an open stadium without a roof. All german stadiums have to have roofs over all seats. So the sound waves are also reflected back down, compared to open stadiums.
Yea we are very loud. I was in the stadium too. I am a German NFL fan and for me it was the best I ever see in 22 years NFL fan. I was at few Super Bowls, home games from the patriots and lot more.
It was an amazing event. We will more :-)
Hearing you talk about us Germans makes me a little bit proud to be German :) I hope there'll be many more NFL games over here, would love to see one live one of these days.
Careful. Last time Germans were proud to be Germans things went sideways pretty quick.
Lol, if there's one thing that is more reliable than death and taxes it's the NFL will be chasing all the money it can, and since the game was VERY well attended you can bet there will be more

The crowd how more energy than I have ever seen live at Raymond James.
The crowd in Munich had more energy than almost any NFL crowd in the US and the UK.
There are fans here in Germany. I played in my youth American Football. As we had NFL Europe, we had three really good Teams in Germany with a growing fan base, but NFL ruined it by parking more and more NFL bench players in the teams across Europe which lead to a way smaller amount of players from their European countries. Wasn't received well by fans and than over night NFL decided to scrapp the whole league. Saddest thing about it was that the teams were automatically liquidated with that, because NFL was the names owner.
Thank You!

I still wear the Cunnigham jacket I bought there...
In short: It was a mistake to close the NFL Europe (which basically ended as NFL Germany, great memories of Rohan Davey), it was a larger mistake to make the London series instead of one in Germany (actually the London Monachars folded, none of the German teams did)...

I was so looking forward to watching this game, but they limited it to NFL Network (for the national audience). The NFL made a terrible decision not to put this game on CBS/FOX. You want people to see your big German premiere, yet you put it on a channel that most people don't get???
German has multiple semi pro leagues. Also I think you should talk about the ELF it could use some big time promotion.
That in-between crap was never needed!
The GFL was just fine. It's the stupid majority who do not support/join their local Football Team to better it! Verein is actively moving your ass! Now that artificial ELF is even dividing that little crowd and the GFL Teams have it even harder to survive!
NFL Europe league which somewhat is planned again but like 3 yrs to late. NFL can hype proper and exhilarate on 90s Pioneer Grounds.
ELFchens und ELFlein just suck. No-one cares to get sucked in but already Hardcore Football Fans with to much Hartz Time!
Just for some money-greedy, fame hungry commentator we may not get NFL Europe 2.0. I don't see how that would fit into. NFL can proceed setting up, then ELF is crashed anyway but I'm afraid they may refrain or at least delete efforts.
We need a NATIONAL league set-up anyhow, it's not working without developing youth! Anyone within 60km radius shall be able to join a Local Team like GFL has grown into with approx. 40 yrs heritage. And then NFL Europe as perfection enjoying the game passively and associating even better with National Teams.
There is no space for ELF-Crap. Even in USA Summer side-leagues are not surviving on such a huge market. If any ELF quickly put together with crap design ruined NFL expansion. Who is wearing their ridiculous merchandise? Not one real kool logo or team uniform. Setting up in 2020 where each kindergardener can digitally photoshop! All the Sponsor Stickers on clothes like Soccer Suckery. 🤢 🤮
Nah needs no promotion, the sooner it closes down, the faster we get real Frankfurt Galaxy again! Owned and marketed professionally!
that slap though!
I work with teams of German's in the automotive industry around Tuscaloosa. Most all have been to Bryant-Denny Stadium, needless to say they get hooked on it.
Well the German culture is definitely friendlier and way better than that of Mexico for example… they also got to watch the Seahawks (whom they really follow as it got particularly popular during the LoB era) and the GOAT in the same game… this was an experience, love it, thank you Germany
🇩🇪👍💯🙋♀️
The grass was wet because there was fog till 3 hours before the game. You only have to choose the right cleats than you will not slip! Watch soccergames in europe in november, no slippery at all! Missed research of the equipment managers and players!!!
Plus beers out of glasses the size of pitchers!! Epicness
I was stationed in vilsck for 2 years. Amazing.’
I am from germany and i really love the US. Love the wrestling. Love the NFL/NHL/NBA. Love the patriotism. Love the beautiful landscapes.
Since i was a kid I stayed up very late here in Germany just to watch NFL games or wrestling events! I just love the american way of life. The thanksgiving tradition with the thanksgiving games. The halloween tradition. The Christmas tradition. All of it! The fly overs! The US is such a proud nation and i love it.
Credit where its due.

I did a study abroad in Germany, and I can attest that a lot of Germans love the NFL.
